The park was very nice. We arrived Saturday evening and had issues with the 50amp breaker getting hot and tripping several times. Told Elvin the camp host. We told him we could make do for the night with one AC. Maintenance was there first thing Sunday morning and changed the breaker. No more issues after that. Friendly staff working there. We enjoyed our stay and we will be back.

Site-14 March 13-22, 2023 My rig is a 40’ 5th wheel / 22’1-ton dully. Pros; pull thru site-14 is long and easy to park in with spacious asphalt platform for the landing the access steps. Site-14 is very secluded. The campground is well maintained with new asphalt roads. Hosts are friendly and keep the restrooms, grounds and dump station clean. Great views of the lake from many of the sites however at site-14 lake view is block by trees. Cons: parking pad for site-14 is in poor condition, crumbling asphalt. The dump station is tight turning for big rigs. Restrooms and shower facilities need updating. Bugs, gnats, no-see-ums, and mosquitoes get ferocious, be prepared.

We stayed in site 14 with a 44 foot toy hauler pulled by a Ford F450. This site has plenty of room for RV and truck. It also has room on each side of the site where our puppy had plenty of space to play chase and go for leashed walks. A partial view of the lake is very nice. We absolutely love this park, so many areas to walk, even a couple of trails thru the woods; restrooms are old, but clean; plenty of dumpsters for trash. Road in to the park is curvy, single lane and a bit bumpy, so proceed slowly. Cell phone service (AT&T) was very good. We’ve stayed here numerous times and enjoyed each stay. Lowe’s, Walmart, etc are about 12 miles away in Jasper.

Loved site 14! Lots of room. The park is clean and peaceful, unless someone has a barking dog!! I don’t mind people bringing dogs I just think they should be able to control them. That’s my only complaint. Lol love the Attendants!! Very friendly

Wonderful stay - the park was exactly as we remembered it from years ago. Clean and very nice to stay at.

There is good cell phone service in most of the park, but it is a little better closer to the water.
