Site 14 was about a 200 pull-thru with water and electric. Tons of space between each site which gives plenty of privacy. You wouldnt even think you were in Texas staying here. Sunsets on the lake were gorgeous!

The park was very nice. We arrived Saturday evening and had issues with the 50amp breaker getting hot and tripping several times. Told Elvin the camp host. We told him we could make do for the night with one AC. Maintenance was there first thing Sunday morning and changed the breaker. No more issues after that. Friendly staff working there. We enjoyed our stay and we will be back.

Site-14 March 13-22, 2023 My rig is a 40’ 5th wheel / 22’1-ton dully. Pros; pull thru site-14 is long and easy to park in with spacious asphalt platform for the landing the access steps. Site-14 is very secluded. The campground is well maintained with new asphalt roads. Hosts are friendly and keep the restrooms, grounds and dump station clean. Great views of the lake from many of the sites however at site-14 lake view is block by trees. Cons: parking pad for site-14 is in poor condition, crumbling asphalt. The dump station is tight turning for big rigs. Restrooms and shower facilities need updating. Bugs, gnats, no-see-ums, and mosquitoes get ferocious, be prepared.

It was ok. Minus all the bugs, and not riders at night with their light bars... Since the gate wasn't closed...

Campsites are clean and roomy. Only complaint is that one of the toilet stalls was without toilet paper for almost 24 hours.

We were in spot 14, 110 ft pull through. Our 44 ft toy hauler and F450 pulled right in. Weve been here several times. Great place to walk around, walk the pup and enjoy the lake. Areas are clean, restrooms clean. Couldnt ask for more.

Overall our experience there was good. It was peaceful and quite. Only problem was the bathrooms were dirty.

Great park! Roads are a bit narrow getting into the park but not heavily traveled. This is our second time staying at the park. We were in Site 14. 45 ft Class A with Jeep. Site is huge! Probably could fit three 45 ft rigs. Hiking trail right from our site. Great for a Blue Heeler puppy. Lots of places to ride road bike off main highways.

We stayed in site 14 with a 44 foot toy hauler pulled by a Ford F450. This site has plenty of room for RV and truck. It also has room on each side of the site where our puppy had plenty of space to play chase and go for leashed walks. A partial view of the lake is very nice. We absolutely love this park, so many areas to walk, even a couple of trails thru the woods; restrooms are old, but clean; plenty of dumpsters for trash. Road in to the park is curvy, single lane and a bit bumpy, so proceed slowly. Cell phone service (AT&T) was very good. We’ve stayed here numerous times and enjoyed each stay. Lowe’s, Walmart, etc are about 12 miles away in Jasper.

Loved site 14! Lots of room. The park is clean and peaceful, unless someone has a barking dog!! I don’t mind people bringing dogs I just think they should be able to control them. That’s my only complaint. Lol love the Attendants!! Very friendly

There is good cell phone service in most of the park, but it is a little better closer to the water.

This is a beautiful, one of a kind park. Park Hosts were excellent in all ways. It's a dream place and I noticed as soon as someone left out, the parking place was cleaned and blown off. The only request I have is that Site#14 has a large pothole that extends across the parking space. If this could be filled, this place would be a A+. Thanks for the memory.

The park is beautiful. Quiet. Had my coffee in the morning staring out at the lake..Wish I knew their names , but the park hosts were very nice. I needed to take an awning off of my unit and needed a cordless drill. Not only did the gentlemen lend me his , he helped me take it down. Only wish I couldve stayed longer.
