We stayed in Buffalo Loop and loved the large sites with great views and reliable water and electricity. The bathroom was convenient and showers nice and hot.

We stayed at Juniper Loop site 16 for 3 nights and really enjoyed our time there, it was quiet the whole time we were there and had no issues to speak of. We noticed crews were working on improvements throughout the campground including new water and electrical connections and dump stations. There are no sewer connections at sites, however there are dump stations available at different areas throughout the campgrounds including the area where we were staying which we did use on our way out. On Juniper loop some reviews mentioned having to bring 100 of water hose to share spigots between sites, that is no longer the case as each site now has its own water and electrical connections.

Cochiti Campground is truly a special placesafe, exceptionally clean, and staffed by some of the friendliest people around. Our time here was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we needed. The surrounding landscape is stunning, and New Mexico is one of the most fascinating places Ive ever experienced.

I liked Cochiti alot, more trees than I thought there would be and since it was April, pretty quiet. I would definitely camp there again.

Cochiti lake & campgrounds never fail! Such a peaceful, beautiful gem. Campgrounds are clean, some have hookups. Dump sites are easily accessible. Bring your bicycle & ride across the dam it's a great spin with amazing scenery!

The restrooms had toilets plugged and were not clean. Just terrible shape. Been coming here for years, this was really bad. Intolerable smell.

Very nice grounds, great view, mostly well kept up. However, a fair amount of trash around the area, park lighting mostly did not work, and the community bathroom would have been better off just being closed rather than being open in the condition it was in. Hopefully they will tend to some of the matters. I'd like to stay there again.

This campground is beautiful in all respects. Clean and well-maintained. The sites are large (if not particularly level) and many have lovely views of the lake.

COE campgrounds are always top notch. This one is no different. They have picnic tables with metal roofs over them, nice asphalt pads, and spacious sites. The views of the lake are amazing. The signage to the campground could be better. You could easily take a wrong turn. Most sites are somewhat level. I had sire 52. It was anything but level. I was 6.5" off level side to side. Therefore I could not extend my slides for fear that they would bind up on the way out or in. Also the turn into and out of the site was very difficult for my 44' motorhome.

Restrooms/showers untainted or clean the majority of the stay. Trash dumpsters overflowing.Lack of maintenance being completed on a timely basis, shower heads heads broken clogged toilets, drains backing up.Thankfuly there are periodic Rangers patrolling throughout the day.

Beautiful recreation area. No wake boating, fishing and swimming. There always seemed to be a nice breeze. Sites were spacious and tiered on a hill so there were views at every site. Went to sleep listening to the coyotes howl after sunset. Showers were pretty warm, certainly warm enough and bathrooms were clean. There's a gas station and laundromat a minute from the entrance and the local golf course has a small restaurant with great burgers.

There were people staying at our site. There was no ranger to assist. The people eventually left but it was horribly uncomfortable and felt unsafe. I tried calling and chatting through recreation.gov. The chat function wasnt working and the phone just kept ringing. I would like a refund if possible. We had children with us and sharing a site we paid for with strangers was not ok. Thank you for your time.

We stayed in site 49 for two nights. Great site overlooking the lake. Non electric loop, covered picnic table. Shower/bathhouse was close by and clean. Never saw any gate attendant or campground host. Campground was quiet overnight. Perfect location for star gazing! ~30 minute drive to Santa Fe. Would definitely stay again

We had been on the road for a while and pull-through access was welcome after a long day. Additionally, we took advantage of a great laundramat nearby. We also enjoyed easy access to Santa Fe. Campsites are well spaced and other campers were respectful and quiet. We will be back.

Cochiti Lake is great! Very nice campgrounds- many with views of the lake. I stayed in Elk Run - which is a modern campground but with no hookups. My trailer is fully equipped for off-grid camping so that's perfect for me. There was even a water spigot nearby that I could use to fill my fresh water tank. The dump station is conveniently located near the entrance to all of the campgrounds as well. The bathrooms are modern with showers- but the showers are the push button type where you can't control the temperature and could be updated/maintained a bit more. But they get the job done. Each site has a very nice shelter with picnic table. The rangers are very personable and helpful as well - take some time to check out the visitor center to learn about this history and ecology of the area. When I was there, late March, the Ringtail Cat loop was still closed for the season. If you can get a spot in that loop that is, in my opinion, the best area as most of the sites have excellent views overlooking the lake and are a bit more private. Be sure to get out and hike or bike up on the Cochiti Lake dam. There isn't much in town- really just a gas station plaza that has (when I was there) the cheapest gas around as well as some convenience store staples and a pizza/sandwich shop. There is also a very nice and very well equipped laundromat in the same plaza. Santa Fe is an easy 30 minute drive.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
