Very nice campground. Clean and quiet. Very close to Cochiti golf course, Tent Rock State Park, Santa Fe and other sites.

Beautiful views. Level sites. Pretty far from santa fe or Albuquerque. Did not use facilities so cant comment. Likely would stay closer to Santa Fe or Albuquerque next time. Staff was on site day of check-in (Labor Day) but was not present for second day. This was our 2nd time here but this time was extremely hot with no shade which probably is affecting this review.

Camp grounds were clean, restrooms were clean. However, there was no toilet paper or paper towels in any of the restrooms. I can do without the paper towels, but TP is very important.

Truly a gem of a campground. Water and elect at certain sites, check before you reserve. RV and tents are welcome, lots of space between sites. No natural shade but again most sites have shade structures, check first. Restrooms have very good showers, a real plus. Some facilities are in better repair than others, explore the campground, SUP boarding is very popular at this reservoir, as is kayaking. Wonderful campground host that was very helpful. With my AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL SENIOR LIFETIME PASS it cost $10 @ night with water and elect. Reserving a site was easy while driving around the loops, Metro T Mobile has a good signal You will enjoy your 14-day maximum stay here.

Cochiti lake campground is in a beautiful, peaceful location and our site nearest the water was perfect for a relaxing getaway!Unfortunately another camper arrived a couple sites away and immediately started his generator which completely destroyed the peacefulness we had been enjoying.It would be nice if these non-hookup sites had some regulations on generator use so we can all enjoy our time in nature.

This campground is very nice with a great view. However, there is absolutely no one watching what goes on there! People come in there and just squat on an open site. We reported that someone was using our site to the guys driving around in the campsite trucks and they just ignored us. We had told the people to move from our site and they actually suggested that we just move to an open site! We watched these people plus others move from site to site and never pay a dime. Then there were people racing around in loud off road vehicles and pick up trucks through the campground. Keep your kids indoors. This campground will go downhill guaranteed.

My wife and I had a nice 2 days at the camp sight. It was during the week and was quiet. There is a trail that goes to the store. There is not a sign for this trail.

Great experience! Jim and Mia excel as camp hosts, very friendly, informed, and helpful. Camp mostly quiet and friendly. Restrooms were always very clean and well stocked, again, camp hosts great diligence. Gov't needs to step up and resolve the water issues soon. Lack of water only negative. Will return there again.

Its a beautiful setting, and the facilities are up dated from my visit 10 years ago. Love to kayak the lake.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
