Its a beautiful setting, and the facilities are up dated from my visit 10 years ago. Love to kayak the lake.

I enjoyed my experience and the staff there were very helpful when I encountered an issue and requested a site change.

Bathroom sinks had not been cleaned in several days, lots of dead bugs on them.

The place is very nice but as sun went down we couldnt go outside. There were scorpions running all over are campsite . We did not even stay both nights . We were in rv the whole time because we couldnt get down with kids and left in the morning. But it looks nice

Lots of spots, was glad to be able to reserve online; however, we pulled in late and someone was in our reserved spot and we didn't realize not all of them had water, so it was late and we were trying to find a decent spot and then ended up in one without water, too tired to move again, and we couldn't update our reservation online to the new spot we moved to because it was after midnight so it would only let us reserve a new spot for the next night.

Brand new facilities. Awesome view of the lake at higher elevation. Great swimming, kayaking and fishing opportunities. You can jog the rio grande dam wall if you want. Or just go for a walk on it.

Clean facility. Friendly, helpful staff. Some sites are difficult to get up the berms to the picnic tables. Several tables don't have canopies. Fishing is at the same place on the bank as swimming.

This was our 3rd visit to Cochiti, we really do love it there.we arrived after a holiday weekend and things were a little messy but it was soon all cleaned up. Its quiet, the lake is beautiful for boating, fishing & swimming.

Always a great stay! Bathrooms and showers are clean (for being a camp ground). Campsites are well kept. Lake is always fun! Staff are friendly. Overview is amazing during sunset

Fairly nice spot, but no camp host. With no maintenance that would be provided by a host, the toilets were a on the "need of attention" side. On the plus side, there is a building with a shower, unlike many such camps. But again, it was a little sketchy since there was no host. Thankfully, most people who were staying there during my time were respectful of quiet hours and didn't need a host's enforcement. I did like the individual lanai for most sites.

Probably the worst managed army corps campground we ever stayed at. No one manning the gate, no camp host to be seen. Shower houses at the juniper loop were filthy. Litter along the roads. The natural views were nice though. Too bad they dont have staff to keep it up.

The new showers are fantastic, better than any showers I've experienced the past 15 years of camping

Love this place, gets pretty busy on the weekends but pretty empty during the week. Beautiful place and great location been Santa Fe and Albuquerque.

Large Black Ant pile in walking area, needs treating. Please remove tripping hazards. Dumpster overflowing across street. Will attract Rodentia then snakes.Clean bathroom right across the street, excellent

Cochiti campground is a beautiful place! We did have a difficult time getting our camper level, but we did appreciate the covered picnic table, the paved streets and the incredible views. I didnt do my research so we missed out on our planned trip to see the nearby tent rock formations. The site is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. We were able to take some long walks and swim in the lake. It was quite windy during our visit, otherwise it would have been too hot.

Bathrooms were closed at the lake, but campground bathrooms and showers were open and kept clean. Campgrounds were also well kept. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Campground. Lacking in Hospitality! No one "on duty" when you try to check in or any other time when we were there. We learned from watching other campers that you take the reserve ticket off your post, clean it with a wet paper towel and write the dates that you reserved on it and hang it back up. Reading on the internet that there are other sights to see in the area, but one has to jump through many hoops in order to do that. While we were there, there were several people driving around trying to figure things out. Definitely needs better management.

Enjoyed RV camping. Host was very friendly and informative. Fishing from boat ramp area was not the best but I went later in morning. Will visit again for sure.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
