The restrooms had toilets plugged and were not clean. Just terrible shape. Been coming here for years, this was really bad. Intolerable smell.

There were people staying at our site. There was no ranger to assist. The people eventually left but it was horribly uncomfortable and felt unsafe. I tried calling and chatting through recreation.gov. The chat function wasnt working and the phone just kept ringing. I would like a refund if possible. We had children with us and sharing a site we paid for with strangers was not ok. Thank you for your time.

Truly a gem of a campground. Water and elect at certain sites, check before you reserve. RV and tents are welcome, lots of space between sites. No natural shade but again most sites have shade structures, check first. Restrooms have very good showers, a real plus. Some facilities are in better repair than others, explore the campground, SUP boarding is very popular at this reservoir, as is kayaking. Wonderful campground host that was very helpful. With my AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL SENIOR LIFETIME PASS it cost $10 @ night with water and elect. Reserving a site was easy while driving around the loops, Metro T Mobile has a good signal You will enjoy your 14-day maximum stay here.

We were so very pleased with our stay here. They didn't have their full staff yet because they had opened early but the staff we interacted with were super nice. Highly recommended

The water was not working in our site, and there was no information on who to contact after hours or who the camp host was. Poor communication on emails, web site, and posted bulletin boards. The following day we were moved to another site so repairs could be made. Beyond that the location was very good, but that soured our experience and time spent there.

Bathrooms need some attention. No TP, paper towels or soap. Lost power for a few minutes in the middle of the night, but resumed and didn't repeat. There doesn't appear to be anyone there to attend to problems that may arise. Nice hikes.

Our site was filled with goat heads, the bathrooms/showers were in disrepair, there were weeds all over. We never saw a camp host or Corps worker in 5 days. This is opposite of how Cochiti was in 2019, it is very sad to see it going downhill.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Cochiti Lake campground. Our space was large, had power and water and a covered picnic table. The camp spaces were far apart affording everyone some privacy. The restrooms were clean and included showers. The one thing that was a little annoying was a person mowing grass near our site. With the breeze, the dust came right into our campsite.

We love this campground. This was our first time here. We stayed on site #5 in the Pedernal Loop. We had 3 nice pine trees on the west side of our motorhome, which helped with the hot sun on our RV. Each site in this loop has elec. and water hookups. They also have a small shelter with picnic table, fire ring (NO campfires allowed anywhere in NM right now due to wildfire risk)! There is a dump station in the park. We stayed 4 nights. (mid-week) There were others spots open, but they were starting to fill up by Friday. I was disappointed in the women's shower house. Only 2 showers and one was out of order. Only one sink in a small space. Bathroom needs updating a bit. Husband said his was very clean and looked like it had been updated. (two working showers in mens) We fished two mornings while there and I caught a 14" Walleye. Abiquiu Lake is a nice size and a fun recreation lake. Speed boats, fishing boats, kayakers and canoers. There is a new playground for kids. Also, if you like photographing scenery, take a ride going North on Hwy 84. It is gorgeous!

This is one of the most beautiful campsites we have had. We had glorious sunsets. Hummingbirds abundant. The facilities are nice. It is a bit of a long walk to the beach. I would recommend driving down.

Wonderful campground with excellent accommodations. We had a level pull-through site with a great picnic table, metal awning for shade, and a great view of the reservoir. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. We camped here in a 33' travel trailer.

The campground was very clean. nice hot showers. Campsites are big and easy to get into. Took a nice bike ride across the dam. This is a nice staging campground for doing things in the Santa Fe area, including Bandelier NP.
