The weather was windy, rainy, then snowy, on our first 2 days, the weather became beautiful and sunny, lake is stunning

Located a pleasant distance from the bustle of nearby Santa Fe and Albuquerque, Cochiti Campground is a quiet retreat a reasonably quick drive off the interstate, and offers a nice array of spacious sites with ample amenities to boot. Great views of the lake, covered picnic areas, and water / electric available at many sites. Unfortunately, we stayed only one night in April, with no extra time to explore the lake and area. Would come back in a heartbeat though, and recommend it as a stop along the path or as a destination to get out of town.

Campground has beautiful views of the lake and the mountains. I liked that my campsite had electric and water and there was a dump station available. Bathrooms with showers were close by and very clean. Pleasant stay!

Great park and views of the lake. W/E, dump station on site. Site was level and plenty of space to walk the pup. Only negative is water pressure VERY high, actually blew our pressure regulator apart. We filled tank and operated off pump for the week, not a major problem. They were working on water lines and don't know if that is/was related. Check pressure before hooking up.

We camped the 1st night in site 51. No problem. Moved the next night to site #65 electric hookup not working! No electricity which we paid for!

Well spaced sites in Buffalo Grove with water and electric. Gate personnel excellent as are hosts. Beautiful views. Clean and orderly. Campers there thus far are quiet and pleasant. Those with dogs are well behaved. Go often.
