We had been on the road for a while and pull-through access was welcome after a long day. Additionally, we took advantage of a great laundramat nearby. We also enjoyed easy access to Santa Fe. Campsites are well spaced and other campers were respectful and quiet. We will be back.

This campground worked well for me for 2 nights with electrical hookups, showers and dump station. There is not much privacy between campsites in Buffalo Grove. I was able to visit Bandelier National Monument, but I was not able to get tickets to the Tent Rocks.

Cochiti Lake Campground is a great camping location. It is well maintained, overall. However, check the shower facilities in the restrooms nearest to your site. The ones nearest to us were not working at all.

The campground attendants are really helpful the area is always clean and the facilities are clean as well. The location is an excellent distance from our home and we go at least once a year if not more to camp there.

Beautiful Campground. Lacking in Hospitality! No one "on duty" when you try to check in or any other time when we were there. We learned from watching other campers that you take the reserve ticket off your post, clean it with a wet paper towel and write the dates that you reserved on it and hang it back up. Reading on the internet that there are other sights to see in the area, but one has to jump through many hoops in order to do that. While we were there, there were several people driving around trying to figure things out. Definitely needs better management.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cochiti. We had a terrific site overlooking the lake. We rode our bikes over the dam and we really amazed at the views.

We enjoyed our time here. We were in Buffalo Run with E and W and no issues with either. The park is big and we had places to walk with the dogs. The bathrooms could have been cleaner, but they were not terrible. There are millipedes so just an FYI. (At least in the summer) :) Park is very close to Santa Fe and El Rancho De Las Golondrinas.

We stayed in the electric loop - Buffalo Grove. All the sites have been upgraded and have concrete under the picnic table and a shade shelter. The bathrooms do have showers, however the bathrooms are not cleaned regularly. We were there during a holiday weekend and the rangers drove around to show a presence and watch for any issues. Most of the campsites do not even have a view of the lake and there are very few trees.

Well run campground with great amenities (I.e full hookups, clean bath houses). Nice spacing between most sites. Excellent hiking all around park. Lake not much to look at and pretty far from Santa Fe (35-40 minutes).

Wish Tetilia Peak side was open. Alot greener over there. Less people. Thinking with Covid and all it would be open to spread people out more. Please fix road. Thanks.

Cochiti campsite was beautiful. No check in when we arrived as no one was at the station, but we went down the next day to get a park pass. The electric and water made camping that much more enjoyable. Other than the neighbor’s generator running constantly, it was a very enjoyable stay.
