My husband and I took our grandchildren for two nights and they had a blast. They loved canoeing, the nature walks and having a fire at the end of the day. We will definitely take them back soon. The camp hosts were super friendly and nice.

This is a perfect family campsite. The lake is clear due to it being spring fed, and there are trails galore. Bathing area/restrooms are very clean and hosts are very nice. The campsite itself has a charcoal grill, lantern pole and fire ring with swing away cooking grate. Perfect!

We love this place. Caretakers are amazing and take great care of the rec area and camp sites.. Bathrooms are clean and all facilities well maintained. We try to visit as many parks as we can but always come back to Clearwater Lake Rec Area as out favorite. Great starviewing on a clear night. This campground is what got my then 4 year old daughter into camping. I don't want to say too many good things because I want my favorite site to be avaliable.

We love this campground. It's small, quiet, and perfect with kids. The little beach by the lake is lovely, and there are nice hikes around. The hosts are super nice. This is our third time camping here, and we'll be back :)

Over $130 dollars for tent camping for three nights?! Not a fan of the new policy that makes you book three nights on holiday weekends. Eight dollars in fees just to book online? Really?! We ended up going home early as all we wanted was two nights. These prices are going to push more people into boondocking which will be bad for forrest health in the long term. The facilities were well maintained, as you should expect for that price.

Terry and Jerry are amazing hosts! The bath houses were incredibly clean and well maintained. The campsites were all immaculate with bear boxes for your food, a pristine grill and fire pit. We spent every morning playing in the lake; whether kayaking or stand up paddle boarding (which we rented for next to nothing from the gate house) or just sitting in our inflatable chairs. The water is clear and warm!We will 100% be back to camp here!!!

We were amazed by the beauty of the park and lake, but unfortunately, its heavily infested with ticks. Weve been camping for years and have never experienced anything like this we found ticks in different parts of our bodies and not to mention on our dog. Four days later, were still dealing with them at home. There were no warning signs or prevention info at the entrance, which is very concerning. Were honestly horrified and wish we hadnt gone. Not sure if its tick season, but this was an awful experience.

I have been camping at this park many times and love it. This last visit was horrible. The noise from other campers was so loud one of us had to go and ask them to keep it down. They were playing music and screaming well into the night. Both loops had many sites that were very loud, kids running through other campsites and several teens right by our site on the water yelling loudly at 7:00 in the morning. The bathrooms smelled horrible when we arrived but that was cleaned up the next day. I am sure there is not much you can do, but you have a right to know.

Small lake, but very quiet. Nice shady sites and clean bathroom. I was in B loop.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
