Good overnight spot. Nothing fancy. Perfect for A class , and boxes. We are use to woods and trees and space. Felt too urban and close together. Not suitable for B class.

Excellent camping in the woods. Lots of trees and a good deal of privacy between sites. The picnic table, grill, and fire pit were in good shape. Clean bathrooms. We were right next to the lake but didnt have any trouble with bugs. Jerry and Terry were very helpful, letting us take a look around before deciding to camp and suggesting the best sites for our needs.

My husband and I decided to try this place and we were so impressed! Beautiful lake views, hiking trail, dog-friendly. Clean bathrooms with showers. No electricity but that is fine for us because we have solar. Water pickets are available throughout campgrounds. Kayak, canoe and paddle boards are available for rent. Ice and wood available for purchase. We just loved this place. Quiet quaint campground.. So peaceful! We meet the host Jerry & Tari, very nice people. Looking forward to our next trip there!Lonny & Patty Recore

What a wonderful vacation! Clearwater Beach is a beautiful. Quaint little lake. It reminds me of my camping res as a youngster when life was simpler. Great well manicured sites and the staff is the A team all the way. Clean and very nice comfort station restrooms and showers nice hot water. Little beach is so quaint with kayaks and canoes for rental. Lake is crystal clear as it is spring fed. And spring water for drinking. Yu its all of that . Many thanks to staff for great care giving of guests. They are a great asset to this Recreational area

Clean campground, each site has lockbox which is plus. Toilets and showers were in good clean condition.

I had a very good time at Clearwater Lake, the guy at the check-in was very helpful, there are plenty of trash and recycling receptacles. I was on site 15 and to asphalt pad was crumbling and it was had keeping my trailer on it not to mention it was very unlevel, otherwise I had a great time.

This was our first camping experience in Clearwater Lake. We found it from a YOUTUBE video and it looked great so we packed up our trailer and went. We arrived after work on Friday. Road was big enough for our Truck and 19ft trailer. Directions were easy to follow even at night. entered the gate code and within 15 min we were parked and set up. Back up was easy in driveway. Pads were even. Loaded up the firepit and started relaxing. The onsite host came by later that night to check on us. I felt safe at the point. Campsites were nicely separated with Brush so you had a since of privacy. There were alot of tenters and about 3 travel trailers including our all of which turned off their Generators at night so it was peaceful. The next morning we checked in at the gate and the Staff was excellent. Had a nice conversation. He told us what to look out for and the trails to hike. We bought some extra wood for the fire. Each site has potable water. We were on site #15 right on the lake. it was just a gorgeous spot. Trails were nice. Everyone was friendly. There was a group camping by us that was loud. not to annoying but the father didn't have an inside voice. he was yelling at the kids at 7am rofl. He put them to work to collect firewood lol It was a great trip we will be back really soon.

This is my favorite campground. Emma and the other staff are friendly and helpful, and the campground is immaculate. Campsites are large and shady. I really like the loop hike around the lake and cycling on the Paisley trail.

We knew that there would be no hookups for our travel trailer so that was not an issue. We were prepared to shower in the bathrooms and use our battery and propane to run the basics. We were not prepared for the unlevel sites however and had to switch to a new site after not being able to safely level our trailer at this first one. Luckily the site across the road was available. The campground was very nice. Clean, hot showers. Lovely lake and beautiful sunsets. We like hiking and the Florida Trail is right at the entrance. We managed to do a 10 mile hike to Duck pond and back! We will definitely be back but will be more picky about finding a level site next time!

Nice campground, but expensive. Run by a contractor. They charged us $9/night for the 3rd car, which was not allowed to park on our site but had to be parked at the rest room area, a ways away. A 3rd vehicle that was an RV would have been free and able to park on the site. The personnel there give us elaborate made-up stories about how if we park on the grass, we'll ruin the special sand that they have there. Transparently ridiculous. I felt jammed by the cost and their rules.

We loved Site #15 for our very first family camping adventure. It was spacious and private and the water view was awesome at sunset! Plenty of space for 2 tents and 2 vehicles, but quite a few walk from the restrooms, but they were very clean. My only complaint was the the 2pm checkin time and the confusion of checkout...some places said 11am and others said 1pm.
