The attendants were courteous, polite, and friendly. Super helpful when asked about the local area.

Great experience! Clean spacious campsites. Clean restroom/showers. Very friendly and helpful staff. My only recommendation is bring your own firewood if allowed. What they sell at the campground is small slivers and expensive.

The campground has exclusive real estate on a perfect lake. Most of the campsites i walked by had views of the water and the overall site is well maintained. The host camper Jerry was helpful and polite. I hiked down from palatka on The Florida Trail and he made the experience seemless. I was a bit surprises by the mandatory two day reservation when staying weekend with CWL but that just for ed me to enjoy a bit more time.

I have camped here many times. We had a large group coming the next morning to park their cars as we hiked the Florida Trail northbound. The staff were extremely helpful as our group quickly exceeded the available spaces available for backpacker parking. The campground was clean and well taken care of as usual.

I never write reviews...but I have to write how above and beyond the staff is at this campsite. This is the best experience we've had from any campsite we've ever visited. The sites are clean and orderly, the showers are spotless and the staff does an amazing job keeping it all that way. But more than that...my partner and I were in a bad car wreck one of our camping nights and could not make it to the site that night. We called the staff and felt 100% secure knowing they were watching our belongings and were understanding with our late check out the next day. Several staff members checked up on us...and I can't say enough good things about this staff and experience with them (even under the unfortunate circumstance). We will definitely visit again!

I am a 77 y/o single woman who’s been full time camping for two+ years with my Border Collie, Parsons Russell Terrier and 18 y/o cat. We hike/walk two to four miles every day (sans cat). The Border Collie loves to swim anywhere and everywhere so it was a huge disappointment to learn when We arrived at the registration kiosk that dogs are not allowed to swim in the Lake or walk on the trails. If this information had been available on the website,I would not have booked a week long stay. We left disappointed after only one night, and went back up to the wonderful Salt Springs Campground.
