Had a wonderful first time experience in Ocala National Forest. Clearlake Campground is in a beautiful setting. I was on the B Loop and as soon as I parked I walked the Lake Trail, which was spotless and empty. Beautiful and peaceful. The campground was also spotless and the site were very well equipped. Especially appreciated the bear-proof food lockers (although no bears were seen). The restrooms were GREAT! Immaculate and well-maintained. Dishwashing Station? How cool! Shower? Needed after several hours on the Florida Trail. Especially nice were the gate keeper and camp host. Both were very friendly, helpful, and informative. I really appreciated that. Overall, a fun experience that Im sure to repeat.

The site was clean and the hosts were attentive. The bathrooms were not as clean as in the past. There was clearly something growing on the shower walls and not all the lights were functioning.

I enjoyed my vacations here. Very relaxing in a peaceful environment. Thats why I keep returning. Never had any problems here at all. 14 days seems to fly by fast. See you all next year

To be on level hardtop requires backing in which puts the door of travel trailers facing the road and not the table/fire ring area. Pulling in forward will put the camper on a steep slope unless you drive over the parking block and then off the paved surface which is forbidden. Dogs are not allowed to walk the lake trail, even on leash. So not a dog friendly environment. There are no marked trails to yhe water or bathrooms. Rather it requires wandering through someone elses campsite.

This was the nicest experience I've had in years, the site was quiet, the bathrooms were squeaky clean, and the staff went out of their way to check in while driving by on their golf cart and making the gate combo an efficient system! Im planning on staying again next week for a day that I'm working in Deland - it is THAT efficient it actually competes nicely with a hotel.

This place is a great spot to take the family. This was the first time my family went camping. Bathroom where cleaned, warm showers. The park staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, where we could hunting and where to use our Archery set.

The map online does not give a clear idea of where your camping site is at or what it is near. We ended up right next to other campers without any trees or anything separating us. The lake is a lot smaller than it appears on the map as well. Hopefully the new all reservation site will be more user friendly and will allow for easier changing of available sites. We had wanted to switch sites, but the one we wanted was a walk-up and we would have to basically pay for 2 sites if we wanted it instead of our reservation site. The women's toilets were clean, but by nightfall the showers were a mess. The husband said the men's restroom was all pretty dirty. The other campers had no sense of "quiet hours" since they allowed their screaming children out at the crack of dawn and were chopping wood (I'm assuming since it was loud banging) around 6am. I suppose it was ok for Florida camping, but we will most likely not be back. Oh and the only time my phone had any service (Verizon) was when it was laying on the picnic table. I could use speakerphone, not touch it, and have ok reception.

Beautiful campsite. Some privacy with well spaces sites. Bath house was very clean. Very nice trail around the lake. And the Florida National Scenic Trail is fantastic.

The staff was incredibly rude and inconsiderate to the point where it was hard to enjoy the time I spent there. I will say however the bathrooms / showers were clean
