Our camping spot was amazing, the views and water were amazing (very cold though). The shower facilities were cleaner than expected. The trail around the lake was amazing. Jerry and the other host were very helpful and friendly.

Owners are very nice, bathrooms are clean and campsites are well kept. You do have to drive a bit to go into the bigger towns for activities, but its worth it to stay here!

In a dry camping this was good. We were real close to beach so that was very good

Sites are lovely. Bathhouses adequate. Lake is very small but there is good paddling nearby.

We spent a weekend in September celebrating my birthday here with a group of friends and reserved Campsites #19-21. I could not think of a better place to do it. The site, staff, and overall campground exceeded my expectations! Site 19 was right next to the lake/day use area and Site 20-21 was across the street. All were close to the bathrooms. The sunsets were mesmerizing at the lake and the water was as clear as a spring. The whole campground was clean and free of debris as well. The cherry on top was how accommodating and friendly the staff and campground hosts were during our entire stay. We will definitely be back :)

Nice and quiet (except highway noise) during the week, a bit busier on weekends mostly with families. Havent experienced any loud parties in the 3 stays here.Bath houses and campsites are kept clean.Close to springs and the Atlantic beaches. The lake itself is clear and peaceful. Nice sand swimming area.Several campsites need maintenance to the parking pad to make them wide enough to have all tires on pavement (as forest rules state). They also need fill added so the sites are a bit more level off the pad (think ankle injuries).Overall, a great campground with a bit of TLC needed.

Amazing hosts, very clean including the bathrooms. Love that there is a dishwashing area and bear proof storage for food. Sites are spaced out very well. Already have a second stay reserved.

An excellent camping experience! Absolutely gorgeous setting right by a lake, clean bathroom facilities, and some nice nature trails. We were particularly impressed with the fire pits because they were better set up for cooking than previous ones we've used. The cooking grate swivels to the side rather than up and down, so you can simply swivel food out of the fire to let it cool, or work with it. We will definitely be back!

Goregous location! Very well maintained. There was enough shade during the sunny morning and afternoon to not over heat your tent. Lake side picnic tables were lovely for watching the sunset. A great location to reconnect with nature. Amenities were very clean, better then most places I've camped. We cannot wait to stay again.

Friendly hosts, beautiful park, nice lake, great fishing. The only downside was that the hot water for showers wasn't working, but overall it was super; I plan on going back!

We stayed three nights, in Thursday, out Sunday, in loop 1, space 19. The campground is nice and well maintained. The lake and surroundings are beautiful. We shared beach space with four Sandhill Cranes one morning and they gave us quite a show. The crowd was really quiet on Thursday night, but made a bit more noise Friday and Saturday. Not bad, just had stereos playing and such, and they did get quiet before 10 PM. The sites are paved, but narrow. Ours was just exactly wide enough for our 22’ trailer withe the tires right to the edge of the pavement. There was not an inch to spare. There is quite a bit of traffic noise from county road 44, which for an apparently rural road, stays pretty busy. Verizon cell service ranges from 0 to a weak 2 bars depending on where you stand. Using a hotspot without a booster I was able to join a video conference and did not have any issues with bandwidth. The campground staff and host were awesome.
