We camped in the D Loop spot 65. We also had family members with us. They was in the campsite next to us and one acrossfrom us. The D Loop had a broken hot water heater the first night we had to go over to the C loop to take a shower the second night Loop B and C had no power so we had to go to Loop A to take a shower the bathroom seemed to have several issues and might need a little bit better of upkeep. You have a whole park and only one working bathroom for people to shower. the bathrooms were clean though. There was also an issue with the bear boxes on our campsites the bear box on site 65 we put our food in it and the lock on the box got stuck. We did not get it open until the next morning when a park person came to open it for us. My family member in the campsite next to us also had an issue with their bear box that would not lock at all so their box got left open all night. The inside of the bear box on 65 is excessively rusted on the inside. Campsite 65 is very spacious, but because it is next to the bathroom, there is a lot of traffic. The light from the bathroom lights up the site also. The kids had a lot of room to play even with two tents on the campsite. Campsite 65 is right next to the highway so you do hear traffic all night long.

Bathrooms were spotless. Sidewalks and the area around the spring were very well maintained. Last, my battery on my vehicle died and one of the camp employees gave me a jump!

This location rocks! They strategically place facilites that include drinking water, showers, toilets and trash to safely dispose of every night. The springs are breathtaking and the staff is always readily available.

Weve enjoyed multiple stays at Alexander. Just a week ago we saw our first Florida black bear there. She was removed the following day but what a thrill after living in Florida for over60 years and never seeing one outside of our zoo. The spring is refreshing and if the air temps dip, the water seems warmer. Bring a mask and snorkel. The river run is great for seeing otter, turtles, small gators and fish. Most of the paved camp sites are short and narrow so choose wisely. Generators may be used from 6AM to 10PM (no hookups available). Its dry camping! We avoid summer there. Staff is friendly and accommodating and the park is well maintained. Well be back!

Alexander Springs is run by a concessionaire. They charge $50 for a primitive campsite, no water/no electric. You must make reservations online. They do not take walk Ins. The front office were helpful during that process. But I should have looked at sites prior to set up. The campground was empty but I was right next to very inconsiderate campers who made noise/loud music until I asked them to stop at midnight. I did mention it to the host in the morning. The spring is wonderful to swim. Hot showers at the spring bath house. But $50 per night for a primitive site is outrageous.

Nice, peaceful place to camp. Not overwhelmed with partying Urban RV-ers. The place is nicely managed. Go there to relax.

The sites were comfortable, with plenty of space for us in our tents, but they'd definitely support an RV as well. The staff were all super friendly and helpful (shout-out Colleen for her entertaining intro). Kayak rentals were easy. I'm disabled and with the help of one friend I was able to launch no problem. The scenery and wildlife are beautiful. My one critique would be the bathroom near our site. The shower wasn't easily accessible to me, but we were able to find another one on the campground that was. If you have mobility issues, bring a shower chair and you'll be fine. Overall everyone had a fantastic time.

We thoroughly enjoyed camping swimming & hiking for 5 days in this beautiful park. Jenna & Sierra both get 5 stars for all their exceptional information & delightful conversations. We'll definitely be back again soon!

We have been visiting/camping at this park for over thirty years and without question the staff on this trip was by far the friendliest, most helpful, and accommodating group we have ever had the pleasure to interact with.

The road noise is super loud at night in loop c. If you're a tent camper, take note. Campground can be rowdy on the weekends.Otherwise facilities were good, renting a kayak is easy, and paddling was fun. You'll see lots of birds, turtles and otters!

Such a beautiful campground and spring! We stayed 3 nights and had the best time! The front gate is also a little store that sells snacks/treats, wood, and ice which was so convenient. We came prepared with all our food, as you should because there isn't much near by, but we still had to buy wood and ice everyday. They also rent kayaks and SUP boards. We had our own canoe, so I can't really rate the rental experience. But the river was beautiful! A must see spring in Florida!

Very nice sites that have what you need (table, fire pit, grill, bear box) apart from hookups. Without hookups you get to stay in a campground without massive and noisy RVs and instead lots of tents and tent campers. It creates a nice vibe. Lots of shade. Good bathroom facilities and expansive area at the springs for picnics and lawn games. Overall, a great spot.

Awesome camping experience. Firewood and ice available on site. Bathrooms and drinking water both close to any site. Kayaking in the creek snorkeling and diving the spring was so much fun. We saw wild turkeys wandering the site, and after the fire went out some raccoons and a fox came to visit (we saw from our tent). We swam with lots of turtles, a giant gar, and several small alligators. We even saw a few dozen baby alligators on the creek from our Kayak. The water temp was very refreshing and still able to warm up to it after a few minutes. Would recommend bringing wetsuit for young children; my 4 year old was cold in the water. Would definitely recommend and we will be back to visit again.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
