Beautiful park with excellent hiking. The spring can get crowded and it closes way too early. The spring should be open later for campers. There isn't any water and electricity at the tent sites. We still had a wonderful time and will happily go back again.

The springs were wonderful. Its too bad. They shut them down at 5:30 in the evening..It would be nice to have the trails reopened. Theres not much else to do there except for the spring.

The forest was beautiful, the staff was very helpful and we had a very nice stay. We wish the walking tail was open, the cost of entry is steep and the money should be used to repair the trails. I hope the funds are used wisely.

It's still pretty good, but they really jacked up the prices from when i was here last three years ago. I like the place, but can't go as often as hoped.

I wish I would have reserved sooner to have an extra day with our RV. We loved everything about it. The only downside was keeping the dog on a leash, but we understand. We will definitely be back!

Very quiet at night overall it was clean.

The trail used to be great, it has been closed seems like forever. When will it reopen? And 15 per person to get in does not seem right but what do I know.

Campsite 7A is really spacious and close to the day use area. The staff we interacted with was great. Lots of ticks in the campsite so be prepared for that.
@RebecaH2D5DAA8 · Camped on Mar 11, 2026 at Campsite #14
The spring was amazing. The park was clean. The restrooms were shut down late in the afternoon and tent campers were asked to leave. So we had to find another place to stay. As out-of-towners that was really inconvenient.

We booked sites 57 and 60. 57 is especially large, though it lacks the shade that 60 has. Combined, we had a group of friends and these two sites together were great for that. Maybe a 7-10 minute walk to the spring.Overall the facility is nice with great bathrooms that were clean. The campsite itself, however, could have been better. There was plastic and small bits of trash left in our fire ring. The former campers must have been wildly inconsiderate people, as there was dog droppings all over half of this campsite. Gross and rude. Pickup after your dogs! We could smell anytime we went to our picnic tables. I hope the campground staff takes note because this is my sole complaint. Luckily we had our friends site next door to hang by most of the time.Otherwise, this is a great park, great spring, and nice staff. Very expensive for camping, I will say.

Very good newly paved roads to get to tour camping. The spring always great and refreshing

I loved this campground. There were quite a few bathrooms and they were well maintained. The sites were big and they were surrounded by tropical flora and fauna so I felt like I had some privacy. The sites were well equipped with a bear box, fire ring, grill and picnic table. The swimming area was awesome. You can rent kayaks and paddleboards. A couple of the sites had problems with their bear boxes. The walking trail was closed. I had a great time meeting friends there. Perfect place to get back to nature.

Such friendly, helpful and hard working staff. We love visiting Alexander Springs every year. Enjoy all the wildlife, including snakes and gators! Wish the ticks werent so plentiful Would love to see the boardwalk and trail repairs completed, have never been able to walk through there and weve been coming there for years!

We had a great time camping. Sites were fairly private and the restrooms were clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.Had a good time swimming in the spring too. We were here during the week and it was not busy at all

The campground was beautiful and well maintained. The launch site for kayaks and canoes is quite a hike. They do have a cart for this purpose but unfortunately it was nowhere to be found. There is another launch about a half mile down the road.

Our spit didnt have a grill we had no clue when we got there it was broken but other then that it was okay

Nice sized campsites and reasonably well maintained. The spring area is okay, but the water itself is wonderful. Too expensive for a day pass and campsites without hook ups. National forest lands should be more reasonable so they are more accessible.

We rode ebikes on the Paisley trail and enjoyed it very much. The park is a beautiful place to camp.

Sites are mostly level.. I had one that was beyond safe for my truck camper and Jenna went out of her way to find me one better! I'd like you folks to think about a no-generator area. You have good separated loops and would be easy to do.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
