Disappointed that Alexander doesn't partner with other spring sites to individual reduce entrance fees ($15 pp vs. $8 for car load at state parks). Would suggest assistant manager check with staff before confronting campers about having switched sites, especially after returning from days off.

BRING SOMETHING TO REPELL THE NO-SEE-UMS!!! This is a beautiful campground with amazing amenities. Restrooms and shower spots are always well kept, the springs are a short drive or a good walk away for a day of fun. Tiki torches were the way to go for us with helping deter bugs but thats part of nature, just miserable for bites.

The picnic table had ants all over it could not get rid of them. Complain about it and they came out though water on the table and put ants pellets but it didn't do any good we also had them on and in our tent I had to sleep in my truck. No one has gotten back with me on this problem

Everything was great expect the constant rumble of personal generators from 8 am to 8pm. Kills the camping vibe a little bit.

Always a great time at Alexander. Sites are perfect size. Spring is great and if you have kayaks/canoes, bring them.

Staff was super friendly. Campsite was secluded. We had a great time. 👍

Failed to notify the public that the boardwalk and trail were closed. Refused to refund 2nd night.

Between Recreation.gov and the campground, nobody seemed willing to help me create a better experience by changing my campsite. They are TOO hands off at the campground regarding the reservations!!! The campground was well maintained, but I had a family of toddlers (5 of them!) screaming through the night next door! All I wanted was an escape from the world, isn’t that why we camp??

Beautiful park. Campsites are clean, some are small while others are spacious. Bathrooms needed more attending to, the floors were wet and dirty the entire 3 days we camped. There is a spring for swimming and cave diving. Canoes are available to rent. The hiking trails were closed for renovations but there are other trials right outside the park.
