Sites are mostly level.. I had one that was beyond safe for my truck camper and Jenna went out of her way to find me one better! I'd like you folks to think about a no-generator area. You have good separated loops and would be easy to do.

I would like to mention how great was my vacation on Alexander Springs , this is my third time there, the reason Im coming back is because the staff is great! I really had to mention one of the managers even went to my site to pick up my trash ! That was amazing!

It was a good trip, a lot of rain though and this site does flood if it pours ! Other than that it was nice. Yellow flies are pretty active may-july so prepare for that during those months. The staff here are amazing. We went kayaking and saw alligators, and otters. At our campsite we saw racoons, cats and a fox . We really enjoyed it. Water is pretty cold but you get use to it. Definitely float out and check out the spring where it comes up it's beautiful.I want to camp here again in the fall months for sure.

First time here and the camping was a great experience. The campground is clean, the sites are big enough and separate from the others. Restrooms close and showers were also clean and in good condition. The water was too hot but other than that, 10 out of 10. I would recommend a better system for people to locate their camp sites. We arrived at 730 pm and it was already dark. Took us a little while to find our site

Alexander spring is a great park to spend a weekend or even a week. You can reserve a camping site with a fire pit, picnic table and barbecue grill. There are showers and hot water for your convenience. The spring is huge and ideal for kids because it has a wide area that is not very deep. There is canoe and kayak rentals at the site. There is ice and firewood for sale at the entrance. I have been there 2 times and I will bring my kids again! Looking forward to visiting the new store

Wonderful campground with lots to do in the area. My wife and I were hiking big segments of the Florida Trail, which goes right by the campground. Also we kayaked down the creek one day for about 7 miles

Park Manager Linda was very rude and not helpful during check in. We arrived at the park around 11:30am with a reservation for one night at Alexander Springs. This was my 3rd time camping at the precinct. We knew that checkin time is after 2 pm. However we got there around noon with the intent to enjoy the springs and then move to the camp site at checkin time. Linda said we could only have access to the springs upon payment of the daily park fee, even having a reservation for the camp site on the same day. I could not beleive she was charging us for a day use for a couple of hours knowing that we had a reservation for the same day. It is the same thing of you arriving at a hotel earlier than your check in time and not be able to stay at the lobby. unbelievable, being charged for a couple of hours to use the spring with a camp site booked for the night.

A very pleasant campground with welcoming and helpful hosts. Sites are well spaced although with limited privacy. Bathrooms are OK although when cold outside it is very cold inside. Trails near the campground need maintenance and the bridge on the mail trail needs to be replaced.

We enjoyed our stay at Alexander Springs the camp sites have lots of trees and privacy between sites and bath houses were kept clean. You could see it's age and a few things were in need of repair but they were in the process of some restoring and fixing things. Would recommend and we look forward to camping again at Alexander Springs.

What an amazing campsite. We reserved 48 and it was so close to restrooms. Campsite was nice and big for my family. Would recommend!! Springs was so refreshing!
