Great experience except. 1) road and site pads in A loop are badly in need of repair. 2) the boardwalk has been "under repair" for years!! Get it done!The staff were excellent-- friendly and helpful.

Era nuestra primera vez acampando y en realidad la experiencia fue bastante buena. Las instalaciones estn cuidadas y el personal es muy agradable. Debido a que elegimos acampara para ao nuevo estaba haciendo bastante fro, as que lo nico que me hubiese gustado es tener agua caliente en los lavamanos ya que en la duchas si haba. Recomendado el paseo en canoa, hermoso paisaje y se puede observar todo tipo de fauna.

walk way around springs was closed. concession building was closed. camping is still full price.

We have visited Alexander Springs, covid permitting, for the past 5 years. This time we finally had some time away and we were so excited. So, needless to say I was petrified when I realized I only booked one night, so I got back online to book another night. I was unable to as it said that it was first come first serve. So, I thought, well that wont be an issue as we are definitely going to be first. So we got there the morning I booked and asked to book for a second night. The young lady at the gate said I could not do that, I asked why, she said that sight was not able to be reserved. I explained my mistake and she still said I could not book 2 nights even though it was open. I asked for another campsite, she said no. She finally got a manager and she said the same thing. Finally I said. I want one spot for 2 nights, pretend I did not have a reservation, she said we cant do that. I was floored. Finally I said, Look. I just want 2 nights on one campsite, she said, well you will lose your money, at that point I did not care, I was so irritated after a 2.5 hour drive and a car full of camping gear. So we ate the $36 we already paid. We get to the site, its gorgeous, however, the bathrooms were closed, the walking path was closed, just port a potties and a swimming hole. HARDLY worth this hassle and the money. I LOVED this place, now, I have to go elsewhere. Oh, I forgot to mention this is the first time we have EVER had to clean up the spring itself and our campsite. HIGHLY disappointed. I just havent gotten around to asking for a refund yet. Hoping they do the right thing and refund it fully but I doubt it.
