This continues to be our favorite campground. We had a great spot this year with plenty of shade and nearby bathrooms. The new staff were very nice.

Pros: Very peaceful. Pleasant hosts. Very clean.Cons: Frustrating that many water spickets were not working. Wooden bullards outlining road throughout campground make it extremely difficult to navigate with a travel trailer

No where on the website did it say that the flush toilets were out of order. The only toilets available are vault. The plumbing for the flush toilets broke during last april's earthquake and thanks to budget cuts, no one has done anything about it and probably won't do anything about it for the foreseeable future. With two young kids, we purposefully got a camp site by the flush toilets. Only once we got there we found them out of order. We bailed and didn't even stay the second night. There should have been something on the website! we would not have booked a site here had we known and could have gone somewhere else. Camping weekend ruined.

Great campground and beautiful surroundings. Downside was paying twice for a campsite because you cant switch from a site you reserve to a walk-up site. This didnt make sense because the campground was practically empty.

We always enjoy Laguna. Staff was very friendly but a few observations.Water was off in meadow loop - had to walk up to shady loop. Campfires that were not put out by campers were not put out by concession staff in the morning - they just drove by and let them burn. I had to walk up to shady loop to get water and put the fires out. Campsites had lots of litter. Concession staff in past would pick up and clean sites when campers left using park pickers.Ashes needed to be removed from fire rings - some were very high.

Very beautiful place for camping. The hiking trails are amazing and a great place for photography and to make memories.

This place is a hidden gem. So close to the city, but yet the experience makes you feel like you drove to the sierras. We will be back for sure.

This was an amazing spot that has a spectacular view to the meadow. Its close to the bathrooms and the camp hosts were super friendly. The campground was clean and overall it was a super fun and relaxing time.

The campsite on meadow loop was awesome. Lots of space. nice views and wildlife. The bathrooms are kept clean. Not all water spigots are working in the campground, so we had to walk a bit to another loop to get water for cleaning.

Clean, well kept campground. Sites vary greatly in slope, slight grade is actually significant in many sites. Awesome hikes in surrounding area.

The campground was beautiful very quiet. The weather was really good. It was very cool. The sites are not close together, which is a plus. Me and my husband loved loved it and will return.

Had a great time. It was peaceful and relaxing. There was a gentleman who spoke at the amphitheater about the Kumeyay and it was cool to hear about the people who originally lived on the land.

The location and service was good, but I do have a couple of major complaints:1) There are posts surrounding all of the roadways, but they are so restrictive as to make it very difficult to back a trailer into the camping spots. It made the start of our camping there very stressful. 2) On our second night there, a new group of campers came after dark and stayed up until 4:30am being very loud. I realize that this is difficult to police, but perhaps a camp host making a after-hours loop through the campground would help.

Camp Host(s) were excellent. Water spigots (2) were inoperable. (Shady Loop 34 and one down on Meadow Loop). No bueno. Probably wont return to this campground until that is resolved. Unfortunate because this is our favorite campground.

Lovely campground- great for families. The camp hosts were top notch. I loved the meadow area behind the camp ground. The showers need the shady and meadow loops was not in operation so we had to walk about 10 minutes to rhe shower near one of the other loops. This wasnt a big deal for us but may be for some.

We camp here at least once a year. The sites are well maintained and they have made some upgrades and improvements in the last few years. Love the easy access to the meadow for hiking and biking. The camp staff were very nice and friendly.

Always our favorite campground. This time shower/water shut down near our site. Ranger said pipe damage from earthquake. Otherwise, a great experience.

The campground hosts were some of the nicest people but the campground water system needs a big fix. NO water in meadow loop and some of the upper loops. Found only 2 working water spots in the whole campground and with the water problem only 2 showers that worked. Want to reiterate that the campground hosts were THE best and did what they could to make our stay nice!,

Laguna is such a beautiful place, all the wildflowers were in bloom. Camp spots are nice, some offer more space that other as usual but in general they are separated nicely. Wish the toilets were flush vs Vault.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
