Campground was nice, roll the dice on quiet hours. Not much enforcement.

The lay out of the railroad ties circling around each campsite causeda lot of difficulty maneuvering in to each site. Possibly the website shouldstate just tenting or no RV's longer than 24 feet? Trees also needed trimming that hung down as campers drove through thepark hitting their vehicles. Also the pit toilets could of used a better cleaning -I did enjoy the spaciousness of each site in our loop. It was nice to have some privacy. The sites are not very level ,but I guess that cant be helped>

one of my favorite place to camp in San Diego. The staffs & views are amazing! The campgrounds are clean & spacious. the only issue we have is that the flushing bathrooms & showers are still not available (it hasn't been opened for a few years now). The toilets in the meadows does get smelly. It's clean, but it smells and can smell it sometimes at the campsite closest to it.

Been visiting Laguna my whole life. It is neat and dear to my heart. Thanksgiving week was so peaceful and the campground was very quiet. The R and R was exactly what my family needed.

Awesome spot to get up in the mountains and only an hour from San Diego.

Only reason I would not rate this 5 stars was someone squatted on my reserved site. Had to find another spot.

I love this campground and the dark skies! The other campers are usually quiet and respectful, the sites are well-maintained and private feeling, and the woodpeckers are very entertaining!

Great campground, be aware campsite has a connector trail to the other loop and trailheads that goes right between 26 and 28 though, so you'll get a lot of foot and bike traffic during the day in either of those sites.

Great campground! Clean campsites, clean bathroom, toilet paper, water spigot. Campsite 39 was a little farther back which took a short walk to get to but then there was tons of space in the middle of trees.

The overall experience was positive, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, parking a 21-foot trailer proved to be quite challenging, despite my having considerable towing experience. My campsite was very sloped, which made leveling my trailer difficult. After walking around the campground, I noticed that very few sites were similar to mineI guess I just got the short end of the stick. The campground itself was spotless and especially picturesque in the fall. I thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful, quiet mornings with birds chirping overhead. Be aware that weather conditions can be unpredictable; temperatures fluctuated greatly within the weekfrom the 20s to the 40sand nights could be calm or whipped up by gusts over 30 mph. Just make sure youre prepared for anything.

Beautiful, clean, and peaceful campground. Fall colors were beautiful in October. Great hiking and biking trails!

This was a repeat visit for us and the campsite was great as usual (shame about the weather!!) - the bathrooms are pit toilets and are clean and well stocked. We didn't try the showers, but they also looked clean. The site has great access to trails - long and short. Our campsite (Meadow Loop 014) was well located, but was a challenge to level our trailer. The sites further away from the meadow are more level.

Very helpful campground host clean bathrooms, nice trails, except for one guy running his generator all day it was glorious.

It was very difficult to level the trailer because the camp sites ARE All AT A Steep Slope. You should not have to raise one side of the trailer 8 inches to level a trailer.

First timers, beautiful campground and campsite was perfect. Thank you to a very helpful camphost, he made the stay more comfortable and welcoming. The bathroom got a little strong smelling towards the end sorry to say. Overall a great experience, I will be back.

Site 073 in Sunny Loop is an unlabeled walk-in site. Its great AS LONG AS YOURE AWARE OF THIS! Bring your wagon, your squirrel proof food boxes, etc., because leaving stuff in your car at this site is a pain and it should be labeled as a walk-in site.

Spent 5 days at site 40. It's a good site location. The ground is mostly level, and there are plenty of trees. Restroom and water supply are nearby. There are several great hiking trails in and around Laguna meadow.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
