Always our favorite campground. This time shower/water shut down near our site. Ranger said pipe damage from earthquake. Otherwise, a great experience.

Laguna is such a beautiful place, all the wildflowers were in bloom. Camp spots are nice, some offer more space that other as usual but in general they are separated nicely. Wish the toilets were flush vs Vault.

Laguna is always beautiful. We went during the week so it was nice and quiet. The water pipes broke on our loop, but the hosts were so helpful and kind. We survived with water from host and made a purchase at the near by store. Sadly closer showers were closed, but we could shower at the RV lot. I must repeat how nice the hosts were and the maintenance lady who all went out of their way to chat and make sure all was well.

These spaces were excellent for our camping trip with the elementary school!! The fields with lakes were beautiful, and easy enough to get to from San Diego!

Laguna campground was a little gem tucked up high above the desert floor. Beautiful camp spots,close to one another yet private. The campground was clean and quiet. So many lovely trails to follow out through meadows with little alpine knolls strung along the way. The spring flowers were in full bloom and Big Laguna lake was full much to my border collies delight! I will definitely seek out this spot again when I'm in the area!

The hosting staff was wonderful. This site is unusual because it is two sites that park in the same space. The table is about 30 feet uphill. It seems every time we camp here the neighbor camp plays their music though. No cell service, and that is great to stay in peaceful retreat from modern life

Unleashed dogs running wild gave the campground the appearance of an off leash dog park. Late night barking didnt help.

Love the clean sites and roadways

The shady loop has only two bathrooms and both were on opposite sides of the the loop from where we were staying. The closest bathroom had no water so we had to walk to the farther bathroom to fill up on water. We also had campers next to us that stayed up until 3am talking around the camp fire both Friday night and Saturday night. This is not the camp ground to stay at if you want piece and quit while out in the woods.

The camp host is really cool and nice, they are really nice about answering questions and super helpful about getting firewood. This spot was super peaceful and pretty flat for the tent. We love that this campground has grass and is pretty spacious. And super close to the bathrooms which was a plus.

Large shady campsites in Shady Loop. Great for teen Girl Scouts playing Hide-and-Seek. They enjoyed bouldering several times during the weekend (at "Little Laguna Lake," adjacent to CG). Vault toilets so clean, roomy, easy access from the units. Water so pure and tasted so great.

Absolutely beautiful. Went at the end of April, so still cold at night. Campground was not crowded, but I was there during the week.

This was our second visit to this campground, first time staying in meadow loop. We were a group of 7, with some daytripper visitors. We had 2 campsites,#18 and neighboring #16, which was closest to the bathroom. Campsites were level and clean. Paved meadow loop was great for the kiddos to ride bikes.Camp hosts were nice, campground was clean. I would have given an extra star, but the bathrooms all ran out of tp by Sunday am, so make sure to bring your own. Also they are not lit, very dark at night. Great place for a quick weekend getaway, not too far away but you really get the camping vibe.We'll definitely be back!

Spot 11 is perfect, situated on the edge of the meadow. It is easy to park a small trailer exactly where you want it without an extreme slope. The sites on either side are a good distance away and the vault toilet facility nearby seemed freshly renovated. There is a water spigot close by, but beware that it comes out at high pressure and in a wide fan pattern, so hold your water jug close.

We reserved spot 43 at Laguna Campgound for 3 days. The reservation process was easy to use, the campground was clean & well maintained. Our spot was very nice clean and spacious the ground was pretty flat and good for tent camping. We went during the week so the place was very quiet and other campers were very respectful. The host was very helpful & informative and even delivered firewood to our site when we inquired about pricing. It was VERY relaxing & we had a GREAT time!

Was a bit windy but facilities in the meadow loop were superb!

Quiet little area. Spot close enough to the bathroom without the smell. Beautiful, peaceful, and down to come back again!
@HeideP10B1B041 · Camped on Mar 21, 2025 at Campsite #23
Pit toilets were near overflowing and constantly running out of toilet paper. Dumpsters were also overflowing. No firewood for sale (empty). Dogs were off-leash. Music blaring. Very disappointing.

We drove in to find our campsite unmarked and occupied. We came with a group of Scouts and, sadly, had to make a family leave.

I've camped here once before and enjoyed it, at the exact same camp site number as well. I suppose we chose the wrong day/week/month to go because we had some extremely rude and loud neighbors who played music and were the loudest talkers/laughers all night, way past 10 that first night. It really took away the enjoyment of car camping here and we just decided to leave a day early. Needless to say, we were disappointed in this particular trip out. The consolation was stopping through Julian for some of Mom's pie.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
