The sites in the Meadow loop are spaced apart nicely where you are not close to your neighbor. We spent two nights in our RV without power, water, or sewer hookups and we did just fine. We had to run our generator a couple of times during the day but otherwise our stay was great. Nice hiking trails around the area and it is just a short drive to Julian for pizza and/or pie, cider, and a few stores to visit for trinkets.

Even thought the weather did was not perfect, our time in Laguna was relaxing and we enjoyed unwinding with a fire, a long bike ride and a walk out to the rocks.

Wonderful campground! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Campground was clean, bathrooms were clean. Spaces are nice, wide, and easy to park. The campground is gorgeous and very relaxing. Will definitely be coming back here!

Laguna campground was a little gem tucked up high above the desert floor. Beautiful camp spots, close to one another yet private. The campground was clean and quiet. So many lovely trails to follow out through meadows with little alpine knolls strung along the way. The spring flowers were in full bloom and Big Laguna lake was full much to my border collies delight! I will definitely seek out this spot again when I'm in the area!

I've camped here once before and enjoyed it, at the exact same camp site number as well. I suppose we chose the wrong day/week/month to go because we had some extremely rude and loud neighbors who played music and were the loudest talkers/laughers all night, way past 10 that first night. It really took away the enjoyment of car camping here and we just decided to leave a day early. Needless to say, we were disappointed in this particular trip out. The consolation was stopping through Julian for some of Mom's pie.

We really enjoyed camping here, we started unloading a few hours before sunset and it was beautiful. Not too nosy at night.

The space wasn't what we expected. We were expecting more shade at our loction. However that was a flaw on my part. We saw a little cave of trees that were perfect for myself and girlfriends tent. We had a great time. It was hot, but we made due. Overall the experence was what we made it, not so much the camp ground. However being in nature was nice, not needing to do anything was nice. Being able to go to the camoground in the first place was the best part of it all. Just make sure to pack enough water lol.

Great place.

Campground was nice and spread out, with many separate loops which made it feel like we weren’t very close to other campers. Primitive toilets. It was below freezing while we were there so the water line froze. Went on a few hikes in the area that made the trip complete.

Despite the continued fire ban, it was still a restful stay at Laguna CG. There were less than a handful of people in the entire campground. Restrooms were fairly clean. The camp hosts were visible and out checking up on things even though the cg had such few campers. Still my favorite campground when I want some mountain time but don't want to drive a great distance from home.

Love the newly paved roads in the campground and the new toilets. Not sure why, but cell phone coverage was good during the week, then non-existent on the weekend. May be due to high winds late in the week.
