Great lake view at site 13. Only thing with the campground is the water in the showers is only one temperature and that is TOO HOT! had to use my shower in my van

Very beautiful campground. Clean restrooms/showers, quality service. Had an amazing time with my partner and it was also my first camping experience. Will be back.

Beautifully maintained campground. The restrooms are so clean! The only problem we had is that the restrooms are extremely far from most of the campsites. We had to drive to the nearest one (it was closed) and even further to the only one open near the gate of the campground

The hosts (the campground is operated by a third party) were welcoming and attentive. They gave an activity kit to our kids and made them feel like adventurers right away. The main restroom facilities were very clean and within short walking distance. The other restroom houses were closed, presumably just for the winter/early spring season. Our campsite (31) appears to have undergone recent improvements and is updated vs the pictures on the recreation gov site. 31 had access to a very small stream and looks to have had overhead widow makers cleared recently. Overall the grounds are very clean and quiet (at least in early spring). The lower loop seems a little crowded but not like some campground sardines, and the upper loop is more spread out. Maybe much more private once the leaves are fully in. Lake Blue Ridge is gorgeous and worth a visit by itself. Would definitely return.

The site were spacious and not on top of each other, the facilities were great. The bathrooms/showers were very clean. I was very pleased with my stay here

Small but nice campground.

This is our second time camping at this location. We were on site 9 with a camper van and it was great. The paved area is pretty level and easily has room for a second car. There are 2 picnic tables on different levels for a larger group. Access to the lake is down a rocky, uneven path but it's a short walk.

Perfect place for tent camping. I had a great view of the lake. The bathrooms were clean.

Pictures on the web site did not match actual site. We could not fit our 27ft trailer in site 3. We could not get a refund. We wont be back.

We had a wonderful experience at Morganton Point Campground. The views of Lake Blue Ridge were absolutely beautiful and made the whole trip feel peaceful and scenic. The restrooms were impressively cleanhonestly some of the best-maintained facilities Ive seen at a campground. Our campsite was also very spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax and enjoy the outdoors without feeling crowded.Overall, its a great spot for anyone looking for a clean, quiet, and scenic place to camp. Well definitely be back.

What a nice campsite, after 3 years of trying to get this site we finally did. Pretty level, great access to the Lake from the site. Very peaceful. All the sites down the road are for tent campers. I wish I was younger and could tent camp again. They are also very nice sites, but a bit far from the restroom.

This is NOT Big Rig friendly!! After calling the campground I was told by the local attendant that I would not have a problem with my 40 foot Fifth Wheel and Dually. I have gone to other COE campgrounds that list shorter lengths only to find them to be up to 100' long. So upon arrival and given directions I discovered on the second turn that a large tree would collide with our trailer about half way down. The third party person let me know that if I could get past this turn I would have no problems. We maneuvered to another road to have better access. While he keeps telling me to "keep coming" my trucks bed comes up and cracks the fiberglass of my fifth wheel. Once level, we walked to site #5 and quickly determined that there is NO WAY we could fit. Even if we could the washout of the road when leaving would be a huge problem. There are other very nice campgrounds nearby for $45/nt. that are much better. BTW, no refund and says they are not responsible for the damage because, as he put it, "I wasn't driving". In addition, he told us stories of other big rigs tearing their roofs off and messing up their sides. One was the week before. Really!!!

Great site. As-advertised. Close to the bathrooms, but not right next to it. We had a bit of nightly light pollution from the glow of the bathroom lights, but nothing too disturbing. - As other reviews mention, the tent-area portion of the site is *slightly* unleveled. But again, nothing overly disruptive to sleep positions, etc - Aside from the specific site, the hosts were amazing and accommodating. The campground is very conveniently close to Blue Ridge and just enough off the beaten path. We will certainly plan another trip here soon!

Spent the weekend on site 3 and really enjoyed it. This was one of the more level sites. Many of the sites have quite a slope, front to back. Read reviews when booking. Sites are spacious and pretty private. Campground is well maintained, and there was a nice trail to the beach and day use area right next to us. Cell signals were strong on Verizon and T-Mobile. Will be back.

Well-maintained and attractive area. Nice clean restroom/shower building. Small check-in/store area (a sorta shed), but it's well maintained too, and staffed by friendly folks. They have your firewood, and IIRC your ice. Site was in good shape. Thought the fire rings were a little tall (couldn't get a draft under our wood), but water, power, rest of the site were fine.Only downside: Saturday AM featured an hour or more of one of the staff running a leaf-blower on nearby campsites: the kind of thing we came to a campsite to get away from. Didn't really need all the leaves blown off our site, but maybe they understand something we don't. Other than leaf-blowing, not too loud, quiet hours were respected. Many families with small kids - drive careful! Good place for recreation at the lake, though we came in mid-fall: a little cold for swimming.

Nice park. Campsites are well spaced apart. Restrooms & showers were very clean. Only thing I could complain about is the leaf blower running all day every day. This guy must be trying to clean up the entire forest.

Campsites are nice. Be sure to pack a long outdoor extension cord as there is power and a water spigot at most sites. We were at site #8 and found the ground a bit uneven for tent camping. The camp staff are great - bathrooms were always clean (and heated!) and they had a scavenger hunt for kids. The lake isn't very pretty in November - the water line was pretty low when we were there. It is pretty dark at night so those who arrived in the evening struggled to get tents set up or campers parked.

Good experience. The sign directing you into the campground is very small and almost impossible to see enough in advance. That's a real issue when you're pulling a travel trailer . We heard the same thing from another couple in our group.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
