This was our first time camping here. Really nice campground with clean bathhouses. Our site was great! We enjoyed the lake and the weather. Only regret was not staying longer. We will be back!

This is my 3rd time visiting this campground and every time has been relaxing. The bathrooms are always clean and the staff are very welcoming.

Hands down this is the best campground weve ever visited. We are a family of 4 including 2 young children. We tent camped for 3 nights at campsite 13. The sites are well spread out and close proximity to the water. The bathrooms were in excellent conditions. The camp hosts were extremely accommodating and even came straight to our site moments after we got there with cute coloring books and a scavenger hunt for the kiddos. It was so peaceful and we will 100% be back. There is a dollar general 3 minutes away for essentials and many restaurants within a short drive if thats what youre after. I do wish there was a small playground but I appreciate that my littles were forced to use their imagination and be creative with their surroundings.

Beautiful place. Clean bathrooms. Because my age in the terrain, it was a little challenging if you walk off the pavement.

It was a great trip. Campsite was a little unleveled and hard to back into, but we made it work. Overall it was a great experience and highly recommend this place.

We like going go Morganton point. Ease of access to the beach. Bath houses excellent condition. Always like fishing and boating on Blue Ridge Lake. Area was clean and well kept.

Been to Morganton point several times, most sites are on the lake, close enough to stores if you need to run out and buy something, has a nice beach area also, clean restrooms and showers

Great camp hosts. Very clean bathroom. Downside was LL13 is muddy in campsite and will need 1) water diversion from spigot and driveway rain runoff, and 2) more ground rock for drainage of campsite

Much change over the past year and since we last camped here. Why am I not able to use my America the Beautiful Senior Park Pass? I was told it was because I was in site 13 which is now a "premier" site along with 9. It costs more also. FIND OUTDOORS now manages this park for National Forests/NPS. The park is still beautiful and well maintained, however the change to management company with new, increased fees and restrictions is just another gratuitous, societalchange likely due to staffing challenges/cutbacks. It's a shame and sad that we don't learn of these changes until we actually show up at our reserved site.

The Park would be excellent, but the last two times camping within in few months is a stray (maybe) white pit bull that roams around and causes havoc with other leashed or tied up dogs that have paid to camp with the family. It is a nuisance as you never know when he will show up.

We tried a new sit this time and did site 13. Right on the water and was perfect for our Canoes and kayaks. A lot of room and really spacious site. Nice big shaded are by the water to watch the little ones play in the water. Staff was great as usual. Getting harder to get in with more people returning. We will be back in July.

We camped at site 13, it was our first time using our Rpod and the pull through site was perfect. We loved being so close to the lake. The bathrooms/showers were very clean.

We loved the location to Blue Ridge. The spots by the lake (6,7,9,13) are the best. The bathrooms were some of the cleanest weve seen. There is a great hiking spot about 15 minutes away at the chimp sanctuary. Highly recommend!

It was our very first time camping with a travel trailer and we couldnt have had worse weather but the experience at the campground was great! Absolutely beautiful! We stayed on site 13 which is a pull through and is less than 100 yards from the water. Had to stay inside almost the whole weekend because it was either raining or freezing but the view from the rv made it so enjoyable. The bathroom facilities are the cleanest I have ever experienced! You can tell they really take pride in their accommodations. Will definitely go back again!
