We spent six nights on site 9. It is considered a group site and is a little more expensive than some of the other sites. It is a pull through site and has great access to the lake. The site was a bit tricky to get into with our 30 ft travel trailer. It was also a little bit of work to get it level but we did manage. We noticed that there were several sites that could be a bit of a challenge due to either backing up into them or down into them. It appears that once you are on the site it's level it's just getting into it that could be the problem. This particular site had electric and water available and there is a dump station within the park for you to use. The park has two bath houses, and it appears the newer one is closest to this site. This newer bath house was very clean and spacious. All of the staff that we interacted with were helpful and friendly. They offered ice and firewood for purchase. The campground is about 15 minutes from the town of Blue Ridge. They did not offer a laundry facility here but there was a nice laundromat in town.

Beautiful park and lake. Campground was well maintained and nice camping spots. Hosts were all very friendly. There is a nice beach there. It is close to Blue Ridge and lots of spots to go hiking. We could not get any TV channels to come in at the camprgound. Could not use phone to get directions to hiking spots as we lost signal when we got further out from campground, so make sure you know where to go without your phone. Overall it was a great trip!
Well spaced, clean and quiet camp sites. Bathrooms were some of the cleanest I have seen in a campground. Hosts were friendly. The only issue I had was that the water was turned off at the dump station. It had gotten cold a few nights (but the individual sites had running water), but when I left it was well above freezing so the water should have been on. Other than that, no complaints. Verizon service was 1-2 bars of 4g.
We love this place! We had trouble with our pip up and the camp ground host came and helped us get it fixed. We appreciate him so much! This is a nice, safe and very clean campground!
Knowing we had one of the best sites there, we still allowed the campers behind us use the water front and we invited them to playing cards under our carport canopy when it rained. #Friendships that last forever!!
We loved our waterfront campsite at Morganton Point. Site 9 was spacious and had a great flat area that could be used for corn hole, bocce ball, or other games. The description lists this as a double site which gave me the impression there were two sets of hookups and enough parking for two units. That is not the case. The site accommodates additional people, not additional camping units. Overall, a great campground, facilities, and access to nearby hiking and the beautiful town of Blue Ridge.
