Good location. Things to note bathroom is quite a distance away and its a walk in site so you do have to carry your stuff a little ways. Also we purchased our firewood from the campground and it was so wet we had a hard time getting it to burn. Bathrooms are clean and location is close to the town of Blue Ridge and a lot of fun things in north Georgia!

Wonderful first camping experience for my son! Super friendly staff and impeccable newly renovated facilities. We will be back perhaps when its a little warmer!! :)

1st time camping here and we loved it! Beautiful campground and lake! Clean restrooms and showers. Hosts were helpful and friendly. Cell service was good. It is a great place. We will be back!

Our favorite campsite in North Georgia! Second time camping at Morganton and we were at site F, a walk in site. First time we were at site C also a walk in site. We have already booked site 14 for the fall. So excited, cant wait!

We enjoyed a nice, quiet tent camping experience in the walk-in section. We were at Site F, and enjoyed the sunset view across the lake during supper. The tent pad should accommodate most large tents, and there is a picnic table, lantern pole and fire pit with a grate. Firewood and ice can be ordered by phone and they'll deliver it to your site if needed. Everything you need to know is on the campground listing, so read it all, including times the entry gate is closed.
As others have committed, the bathhouse is fairly new and very clean, but it takes a few minutes to walk up there from walk-in sites. I guess you could drive up there, but the parking spaces in front of the bathhouse are reserved for folks with disabilities.
The only thing that didn't work during our visit was the water hydrant in the walk-in section.

Everything is always perfect! The host is an amazing man. He does an amazing job and is very kind, he is good at his job. It’s always clean. It’s just a wonderful place to camp with your family. We will always be back. I got on here to book another camping trip ASAP.

Beautiful campground that stays on our “every year” list. The bath houses are clean and nice. The sites are well maintained and the tent site views over the water are beautiful.

My husband and I went camping for the weekend (walk-in campground). I only have EXCELLENT memories of the place. The spot had a prime view, it was super clean, the host was super friendly, the bathroom was the best we've ever seen on a campsite. We'll definitely go back eventually. If you haven't booked your camping, do so now! :)

The site is quiet and clean. Washroom looks like new built, very clean and well maintained. Near by shores are great places to be visited. The days we went, a group of young people were making rock cairns. They were doing fantastic cairns, we guessed they were physics majors. What a view they gave us!!!
