We camped at Campsite #14 which is at a beautiful location. It borders the lake and is a nice distance from the showerhouse. The facilities are well kept and the staff are nice. The campsites are spacious with a picnic table, tent pad, and a nice fire ring. We really enjoyed are stay here!

great location great showers. But...noisy after dark. May not be back, which is a shame.

Beautiful campground. Bathrooms were incredible. Only two minor complaints 1. I would have liked a little better description of the sites so we can plan how to set up before getting there. 2. the light in the bathroom is on a timer which is great, but during the day it goes out in less than a min. and leaves you in the dark while showering.Host were great and grounds were very nice and very clean.Thank You Stephen

Beautiful and well maintained campground. I stayed in a spacious tent site with privacy, a path to the lake and plenty of room for my rent, chairs, etc. The only issue I had was a boat pulling up and parking and people walking thru my site and around my tent in the middle of the night and again the next day. Didn’t speak and walked in and out like they were paying to stay there when I think it was from the day use and they were moving around the campsite and lake. Staff was helpful upon check in and available if needed. Dogs barking non stop the one day. I walked up to see if the owners were around and it seemed to be coming from the host camper, but not sure. It would be nice if that could be monitored and addressed if several hours of incessant barking. Ruins the experience for everyone. Besides that it is a lovely campground in a beautiful part of Georgia!

Good access to the lake. Can launch a canoe or kayak from the campsite and not have to use the boat ramp.

WE had an amazing time at the Morganton Point Campground. Lot 14 was spectacular, there was so much room for 2 decent sized tents, 2 tables and the fire ring. There was an amazing view of the mountains from the lakefront which was only 20-50 ft away. Besides the below 20 degree weather, it was a near perfect trip.

We arrived and were greeted by a pleasant host and provided a map and a phone number to call for ice and firewood delivery directly to our site, can't beat that service! The campground was clean and well maintained as were the restrooms. The sites were separated nicely and we had a spacious site on the lake. The campground is conveniently located between Blue Ridge and Blairsville with day trips to apple orchards and waterfalls as well as scenic mountain vistas. Overall we were very pleased with the experience.

The campsite is right by the lake and feels nice and private. The driveway is a bit short though and slightly tilted. Only enough space for one car.

14 is a great spot! On the lake and close to bathhouse. Found a perfect spot for my hammock looking out over cove. No elec or water though :(

We have been there several times and we will be returning soon. We live close by and love having a great place to go so close to home. Great staff and facilities.
