We stayed two nights in the campground. The hostess was very nice and offered to help us change sites as the one we had originally booked wasnt the best. The campground is in a good location, close to Medora and close to the hikes and wildlife. There was a herd of bison right outside the campground and we saw the horses very close by as well.

Location = right in the scenic drive. Bison hanging out right near campground entrance! Campground was busy but quiet. Ranger came to enforce quiet time.

The campground was great. Very spacious for tent camping. I wish there were fire pits but I guess the fire danger is too high.

Close encounters with buffalo in the campground! Awesome. Perfect dark skies star gazing location. Ive never seen the Milky Way so clearly.

I loved Cottonwood campground. Sites are large and well spaced. Restrooms are conveniently located. Decent cell service. It's a short walk to the Little Missouri River. On our last day here, in the afternoon, a large bull bison walked right into our campsite. We gave him his space and he was docile and went on his way.

The campground hosts were extremely helpful; they switched us to a better campsite because our camper was too long for the assigned site. The hosts were always cheerful and talkative - always smiling. They were so welcoming. We loved the National Park - the views were amazing and the trails were just perfect.

The pull through sites next to the mountains were fantastic. I could have sat there all day looking at the wild horses and bison. Just driving around, stopping to see the prairie dogs, seeing a coyote, seeing the horses everywhere. Pleasant Valley ranch trail to the river was a daily visit. This park was one of my absolute favorites.

Stayed two nights in late September. Beautiful view of the mountains and the river. Abundant stars. Level tent site, nice picnic table. Convenient and clean restroom. Trash and recycling receptacles. Quiet campground even though it was well populated. Lots of dogs on leashes, joggers, cyclists. A nice experience.

I arrived at the campground after dark. If there had been a sign directing me to the tent sites where the road splits into the 2 loops it would have been helpful.

Our site in the Cottonwood Campground was quite private. The restrooms were convenient and kept clean. Location was good for accessing the scenic drive. We even had a visit from 4 bison our first morning there - quite exciting with no harm done!

Good campground with access to surrounding trails, and the bathrooms were well maintained and clean which is a huge plus. Would definitely book again.

Beautiful park! Camp hosts and staff were very helpful. Easy to find and navigate to. Water fill and dump station were easily accessible. Site 47 was just big enough for our 27' fifth wheel and truck, kind of a narrow site, driver side slide out was very near the edge of the road and not much patio space on the door side of the camper. The picnic table and fire ring were a short downhill walk away. All in all a OK site with pretty good privacy. Short walk to the flush toilets.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
