I arrived at the campground after dark. If there had been a sign directing me to the tent sites where the road splits into the 2 loops it would have been helpful.

Our site in the Cottonwood Campground was quite private. The restrooms were convenient and kept clean. Location was good for accessing the scenic drive. We even had a visit from 4 bison our first morning there - quite exciting with no harm done!

Good campground with access to surrounding trails, and the bathrooms were well maintained and clean which is a huge plus. Would definitely book again.

Wonderful campground. First come first serve with the most spectacular restrooms ever for a national park!! Great destination for two nights and the staff were the best.

The only reason I didnt give this an excellent review is because its so far from Medora. Wish there was a campground closer to Medora run by the national Park service.

Site 47 was unlevel. Marked as slight grade. If the posts would be removed you could get more level. The view was great. Nice to see camp hosts. They were helpful.

Nice campground and facilities.

The campsite was very uneven and too close to neighbors. The group next to us was yelling and slamming just till 1:00am. Could not sleep and dont recommend this campsite because of how uneven and rocky it is. Also campfire ring only grill.

The campground was clean and quiet. It was in a great location and was easy to get to.

Site 3 was a nice little site tucked away from the road! The site itself was nice and flat, great for a nice place to set your tent up! There were pit toilets right at the site, which made using the bathroom really convenient, although the flush toilets were a short walk away. The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful. All in all a great experience! Cant wait to visit again!

We love the natural setting as well as the new restrooms. The staff is very responsible and efficient and the evening programs are well prepared and informative. It is orderly and smoothly run in every way! Having a buffalo wander by is super and quite unique also!

This has always been one of my favorite places to go. For a simple place to camp it is perfect. Help was very helpful and friendly. We even had the music of coyotes to listen to at night.

Huge pull-through sites and incredibly quiet. Great location to visit the South Unit. The interior campground roads are a bit tight for big rigs, but our site was big enough for another Class A with us!

This was a very peaceful and relaxing campground. I stayed one night on my way home from Glacier NP but wished I had booked another night. The bathroom was close and the views from site 53 were beautiful. I spent the next day in the park and saw bison, wild horses, prairie dogs, and a coyote. The park and campground exceeded all expectations.

The campground was beautiful and quiet! The Hosts were very helpful! The location is very convenient to the NP and to the town Medora. We would like to see more of the park in the future!

There isnt a bad site in cottonwood campground! Fortunately for us, we were traveling with another party because we booked site 47 and there was no way, without a lot of inconvenience, we would have been able to fit our 21 camper in there even though it said it was a bigger site than 69, where we fit perfect. Thankfully we switched and all was good! The campground was picturesque and I will stay there again! We only had 2 nights there but I think we could have spent more.

Theodore Roosevelt NP is a quiet gem. What made this an especially nice campground was how helpful the host was. I had to arrive a day early and he was so helpful switching the dates for me. He said that bison frequent the area and while I saw plenty in the park, I was happy to not have one by my tent!

good campground

A few of the sites are in the parking lot. Thankfully there were plenty of first come, first serve sites that were open that I was able to switch to instead. The hosts were great to work with. Very nice bathrooms.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
