Cottonwood is great. Restrooms are clean and new. Camp sites are spaced well apart. Its an easy stroll to the Little Missouri River with bison wandering through. Loved it!

Nice, fairly level site. Short direct path to the river. Actually had a herd of bison pass within 50 yards of our site by towards the river. We had a 35' 5th wheel and fit no problem.

No obstructions to getting in/out of this sight (some of the other pull-thru sites were really tight). And the path to the river right out the back of the site was wonderful!

Gorgeous place. Lovely drives and hikes. Had a bison take a dust bath IN MY CAMPSITE!

Love the campground and the park. We were there for hiking and biking the park loop, and of coarse just enjoyed camping. We had some great September weather and stayed 10 days.

Check-in staff offered great information regarding Teddy Roosevelt Park.

Charging summer rates for primitive camping. No water in campground, 1 vault restroom for the whole campground, no alert on website about no water, campground instructions state to clean dishes in sink attached to restroom - there is no sink attached to restroom, visitor center asked for visitor feedback but they were out of comment forms, no law enforcement presence.

Great location. Trail to the Maah Daah Hey trail right in campsite. Buffalo in the campground. Quiet. Clean. Can’t wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our stop at Theodore Roosevelt National Park on our way to Glacier! Unfortunately for us there was a miscommunication with our reservation and it was taken, but the rangers were very helpful and allowed us to stay on the same site with the other party in our group! Overall it was a great stay!

The park was great but the reservation process was terrible. We were over charged and both recreation.gov and the park management blamed each other for the problem. Customers should not be treated this way.

Great open air site with a beautiful view of the park.
