Had a beautiful riverfront campsite. Access to water and a dump station was a huge plus. Bison were meandering around the campground, a pus in my book. Very helpful camp host.

There may be a few nice sites here, but the majority are awful and packed one on top of the other. Very few sites had any kind of view of the Little Missouri River. We took one look at the pull-through site we had reserved, and hightailed it out. It was like an overgrown strip of sidewalk right next to the road. No trees, shrubs for any kind of noise reduction or privacy. See the park, then camp somewhere else.

The campground hosts are wonderful. The bathrooms are spotless. The NP is beautiful and we were able to see bison, elk, deer, prairie dogs, wild horses abd and even a mountain lion on one of our hikes. Cell phone service at the campground is non existent. There is occasional service in the nearby picnic area and back in town at the visitor center. There is more privacy at the sites numbered 1-40 and less at higher numbers.

Campground sites are narrow with the picnic tables set far away behind trees and/or bushes. Drive trough sites are very close to the road. Cellular service (AT&T) was sketchy. Fresh water and clean restrooms are nearby. There is NO Dump station at this campground.

Nicely spaced sites. Restroom nearest us was under construction but the other was nice. Virtually no cell phone at the camp site, but was strong on the nearby ridges. Nice walk from the campsite to the river.

Be sure to read the site descriptions carefully. I was just able to squeeze my 24' TT into the spot and not able to open either the slide out or awning all the way. North Loop 019. Disappointed that the star gazing ranger talk was cancelled. Location was deep in the park, which was nice for wild life viewing and sunsets. Cell limited to just text. Would stay again in different spot on the other side of access road.
