A perfect spot to stay to explore Theodore Roosevelt National Park and Medora! We did not have hookups, but were glad for the RV water spigot near the entrance. There is no dump station, but we made it work for the amount of time we were there. We loved seeing the bison near the campground, but kept our distance. Driving to the North Unit was definitely worth it as was taking a Ranger-led hike one morning. Seeing the TR - The Strenuous Life program in Medora was also fantastic!

Camped in site 67. Nice site and view. Facilities are new and clean. Enjoyed drive through the park and a couple of short hikes.

Very nice campground. We stayed in site 49 our first few nights and it was great! Large site with an area over looking the river. Close to the bathroom. Horses came into the grounds on several occasions. Campground was very clean and comfortable with flush toilets and running water. Only improvement could have been the addition of showers

Great location near the Little Missouri river. Bison and wild horses grazed along the river during our stay.

There was no fire pit, however. Fires had to be made in a raised grill. You could have brought your own ring to use. Lack of a campfire area was a real drawback.

No showers.

Wonderful stay

Beautiful setting and spacing between sites. Everything was very well kept. The lighting on our older restroom was much kinder to the night sky than the newer LED lit facilities. The ranger program led by Luke was very good. Please tell Wendy Ross and the team thanks for all they do.
