We were pleasantly surprised on the levelness of the campsite and plenty of shade. The walk for us and our grandchildren to the swimming area was not too far and they thoroughly enjoyed swimming there.

Park is quiet and beautiful. Marina next door where you can rent one day boats and get something to eat

The park is nice and clean. The lake views are so pretty. The restrooms are clean. Lots of deer to see on your walks or rides around the camp grounds

This was an amazing campground. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. The grounds are beautiful and maintained. We were visiting from Arizona on our way across the country and wished we could have stayed longer. AWESOME!

Improving the wi-fi at the campground would help tremendously for campers.

The campground was very clean and well maintained. The trails we enjoyed 5 years ago were overgrown and unusable. The marina was very run down, with very little merchandise in the store. Overall, the area has deteriorated over the last 5 years.

The on-site staff was very friendly and helpful. This campground is a great place to stay. If you want to get away from the huge campground overcrowded with campers, this is the place for you and your kids. Nice pond to fish in, a peaceful creek, and stars that appear to be on top of you. Clean restrooms with a great shower house. This is definitely a place worth visiting. I'll be back!

The campground is beautiful, we loved the access to the mountain bike trails. Saturday morning the bathrooms were disgusting, but they were eventually cleaned and the next time I checked on Monday, they were much better.

Really liked our site. Didn't realize we would have concerns about the water quality. I believe that should have been posted on their site, so people could make informed decisions before arrival.

Absolutely beautiful campground. We had tried for a couple of years for this campsite and finally got lucky. The only issue was the beautiful grassy areaeveryone else wanted to also enjoy it so we constantly had visitors biking and walking beside and behind our camper.

This is a fantastic park. We were in site 98 and there was a tree that made me nervous. A storm came through and the tree split in half, fortunately for us, it fell away from our RV. We were able to move to another site the next day as the remainder of the tree was not safe. Otherwise, love this campground.

We try to visit Defeated Creek every year, and this years visit was another great experience. We had a wide range of weather from rainy to very dry and hot. Our campsite was mostly shaded, and we had a gentle breeze off the lake. The park is generally well kept. We loved our stay, and will be back.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
