Defeated Creek Park Campground in Smith County is located 53 min west of Cookeville, TN with an elevation of 528 feet. There are a total of 150 campsites including 148 boat sites. The campground is normally open from mid March to mid November. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 20 and 179 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. All sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $30.00 to $36.00. Some amenities include shower, boat site, dump station, general store, laundry facility, playground, boat ramp, swimming, marina, restroom, trash dumpster, ramada, flush toilets. Activities include biking, fishing, horseback riding, hiking trails, water skiing, floating sports.

We were greeted by a friendly, smiling lady that welcomed us and thanked us for coming. Restrooms/bath houses were exceptionally clean and well taken care of, as were the grounds. Love it!

The campground was clean and very well maintained. The camp host was very friendly and helpful. This is one of our favorite campgrounds. The only complaint that I have was the Wi-Fi and cell service left a lot to be desired.

It was quite relaxing time. We had a few days to just sit around and enjoy the good weather and enjoy a campfire and the colors.

Beautiful COE. Great family location. Many things to do. Marina, designated swimming area, playgrounds, basketball, pickleball, and volleyball. Many spacious camping areas. We were in site 50 and had a great view of the lake. This site didnt have sewer hookup and parking area wasnt as wide as some others but had a great view as it was higher than most others and plenty of grass around. Definitely will stay again.

This is an amazing place. We call it our summer home by the lake. Always have a great time. Hard to get a lakefront spot.

Beautiful COE park. Always well kept, clean bathrooms, and super nice hosts. Lost of campsites were decorated for Halloween, so it as extra special this visit.

Have a neat little town called Granville that is touted as "Tennessee's Mayberry". Not cheesy, just fun! Short drive. Nobels Restaurant in Carthage is a great place for lunch or dinner, Get the double Smashburger!

Such a nice clean park, the sites are beautiful and it is a quiet and relaxing place to be, all the lots (but about 3) are great lots to be on. Everything is right there, no matter what you want to do, boating, swimming, playground for the littles, volleyball course, basketball court all right there in thepark, and a pickle ball court just right out of the park, and much more. Seasonal activities also. What is not tolove here.

Every thing was clean easy to have our family reunion. We enjoyed the relaxing time in the park watching the wild life the lives there.
