Wonderful and Beautiful place! Best COE park we have ever seen! Only issues are lack of good phone service which is also our internet provider. Local Tv stations you can get dont have news and weather. Folks working there are very nice and helpful. Do not let your gps take you over the mountain with a rig!!!

Drove up (1.25 hrs), checked in, when to un-hook and had problems with landing gear. Come to find out there are no RV maintenance services available in the area. So, I got the landing gear up and when home. Come to find out we had a bad battery in the rv. Beautiful place and we will try again next year. But, if you are the #3 campground in AMERICA wouldn't you have the associations that go along with the self-proclaimed title????

Beautiful campground great for walking and bike riding. The guests before us left a lot of trash on the site which we cleaned up. Our site was not on the water and we did not have sewer hook up but it was still a perfect few days! We did not know about WiFi availability at one bath house until the last day.

Nice campground, bathrooms were very clean, people were friendly, lots of playgrounds for kids, nice trail to walk on. There's not many cars that travel through and that drive fast. We are so glad it is open in October. Loved all the decorations that campers sat out. We can't wait to get back next year!

Way to many skunks

Defeated Creek is a beautiful camping area. The site was clean and there were no problems with electric or water hook ups. The bathrooms were adequately clean although they could use an update. The toilet paper was not always stocked. My main issue is the number of dogs and the amount of barking that occurred. Also, people are not properly disposing of the dog's waste.

A great place to camp. Polite visitors, clean grounds, and plenty of wildlife. The bathrooms could you a little work but this is not enough to deter a stay here. I stay multiple times a year here and will continue.

We love Defeated Campground!! Beautiful and relaxing!! The only thing negative are the skunks. We had one we watched go into our culvert every morning.

Campground is wonderful. We enjoyed the lake, riding bikes and scooters, the playground and especially visiting with family.

This campground is truly a diamond in the rough. The views and quality of each campsite are astounding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. Staff were top notch and bath houses were clean and attended to. We will be back.

Evenings at Defeated Creek are pure magic. As the sun sets, the sky glows over the lake, and the string lights come on, giving everything that cozy, golden warmth. We built a fire, listened to the crackle, and watched the flames dance while the stars began to peek out. Its the kind of night that makes you slow down and be present.

We loved our stay! I had an issue with the park pass that I purchased and Cathey looked into it and discovered that I purchased the wrong card. She got us all set up with the correct card that we needed! She was amazing, helpful, and was just so very nice. We will definitely come camping here again!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
