Absolutely loved our stay at this campground! The area is peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained. The staff is super friendly and helpful they go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The sites are spacious, the restrooms and showers are spotless, and theres plenty of room for kids or pets to enjoy. It has a marina, tenis court, basketball court, beach looking access to swin with the kiddos, plenty of parks. We especially loved sitting by the campfire under the stars such a relaxing and cozy atmosphere. Perfect spot for a weekend getaway or family trip. Highly recommend!

Better WiFi coverage would be greatly appreciated. Also a bit better cell phone coverage would also help. When youre old (89) and alone being able to make a call is most comforting.

Beautiful, and scenic, quiet, facilities are clean, great camping neighbors, the Hosts and Gate personnel are all friendly and accommodating. this was our 2nd time. We will be back.

We love the spaciousness and peacefulness at Defeated Creek Park. Lake views are great and plenty of shade. Campsites mostly level and well maintained but mostly gravel. Bathhouses are very rustic but clean and operational. Lots of paved roads for bike riding or walking.

This is our favorite local park for a quick getaway. The park is very laid back with lots of trees and sites all along the lake shore. There are several well located bath houses which are clean but rustic as the park is older. There are lots of sites to choose from but full hookup sewer lots are limited so reservations need to be made well in advance as soon as the window opens up - especially if you want a lake side or lake view lot. There is a playground and a lake swimming area as well as a boat launch but that is all of the "activity" opportunities. We go for relaxation and walking or bike riding as there are a good amount of paved roads with lots of shade. A good park to go to for a time-out from busy lives.

Hosts were very friendly. Very clean campground. Wonderful place for walking. Nights were very quiet. Our site was right across from the water. Beautiful sunsets!

Our space was, in effect, on the outer edges of a parking lot. We did have a great view of the lake when outside, and the view out the driver’s side windows was the woods and lake. Overall, the park was very nice.

Our site had very little gravel with lot of dirt and exposed tree roots that made it difficult for my husband to move about safely.

i STILL THINK THIS IS THE BEST CORPS FACILITY IN THE STATE. WELL KEPT FACILITY, FRIENDLY HOSTS, NOT TOO MANY THIS GOOD. LOVE TO SPEND A WEEK HERE WHENEVER WE CAN GET A SITE.
