We loved it here. The deer, scenery, views and quiet were exactly what we needed. The spaces are nicely set apart from each other.

Defeated Creek is a wonderful place to camp. The personnel there are very courteous and helpful in every way. The campground and sites are always clean. We enjoy the nights in that they are not noisy. My wife and I always feel safe. It's a good place to take a walk. We love to go watch the deer early in the morning and late afternoons. We have been going to Defeated Creek now for several years and recommend it to anyone who love good time camping.

Love this campground! Clean, spacious sites and the bathhouse shower was much improved over last season! Wi-fi could use improvement...I know, we’re supposed to be getting away, but would be nice to check work emails a couple of times a day.

Wow! Best kept secret in Tennessee! This park is absolutely beautiful! We spent five days here in the heat of July in site 150. HUGE site! easy back in site with extra room to park vehicles! Had 50 amp full hook up site. Nice shade most of the day! Great views of the lake. Everyone we met was SOOOO Friendly! lots of dear mostly near the entrance and marina. Had nice picnic table and fire pit with a super level site. Entrance to park is very narrow but manageable if you plan for it. Did not use the bath houses as we were here during the Covid outbreak. Super easy to social distance here! Park was super clean and the staff that we did speak to were all super friendly and accommodating.

We LOVE Defeated Creek!! Its a beautiful setting & peaceful. Always our go to place. My only complaint is that there needs to be some way to notify guests of the annual Halloween Trick or Treating evening. We scheduled especially to be there for Halloween weekend with decorations & candy & were so disappointed to find out we missed it by one day.
