Salt Lick Creek Campground in Jackson County is located 48 min northwest of Cookeville, TN with an elevation of 568 feet. There are a total of 143 campsites including 143 boat sites. The campground is normally open from mid April to the beginning of October. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 20 and 149 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. All sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $16.00 to $28.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, laundry facility, playground, boat ramp, swimming, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, floating sports.

Great weather, friendly host, great camping with awesome view of water @ boat ramp and many deer walking around. The bugs were not bad at all. We will do this trip again next year.

Would love to see numbers updated for all spots. Get wifi in all areas. Upper hill showers updated and drains in there fixed . This is a beautiful camping grounds always enjoyed our stay

A short drive to several good places to eat.Its a very beautiful camping ground. A lot of deer to enjoy watching. I wish there were more sites that had sewage on them.

Our trip to Salt Lick Campground was awesome. There was nothing not to like. Everything was clean, the grounds were kept, and the staff was friendly. We've made plans to return before the season is up.

Bathhouse needs work, you took benches out now there is no place for clothes and you have to try to dress in flooded floors.

I love this place. No Internet or telephone signal which is concerning at our age. but we survived. Park is so clean. Love the swimming area. Could use a camp store. Have to go all the way back to Carthage for supplies. But all in all. I love this place

Beautiful campground. 150 sites. Water views are breathtaking. Staff was very nice. Wish they had a campstore. One dump station. Can be lengthy process on busy weekends! Will definitely come back. Definitely go to Granville when you are there!

Salt lick is our favorite campground. But the bathrooms need some SERIOUS work! No benches in the showers to put your stuff. The drains doesnt drain. The water was up over my feet. NASTY! 4th of July bike kid parade was a great idea until they put a person in a side by side to lead it and they took off like it was a marathon and left all the kids not knowing which way the parade route was. It could use more structure.

The swimming beach was nice, but cold. There are lots of open grass area to play football or baseball and other fun games. One thing to note is that there is only one dump station, so on busy weekends, you may want to take your time to leave, otherwise you will have to wait in a long line.
