Beautiful campground, easy short stairway down to the gorgeous river. Clean facilities, nice camp spot. Some sites a little crowded together.

We enjoyed every second of our visit at Long Branch Campground. The staff could not have been any friendlier and were so nice to us. The campground is kept so clean. The bathhouse was very very clean. We look forward to camping here again I. The near future!

The only negative thing was it sure would have looked good if the lawn had been mowed.

I stayed at Long Branch for one night on a cross country road trip. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The campground was clean and well maintained. The sites were spacious and easy to back our camper into. I loved the view overlooking the Caney River. In the evening it was fun to walk down to look at the dam. The playground in the day use area looked nice and well maintained. I wish I had had more time to explore the river and do some hiking.

We actually stayed at 2 campsites (6 & 49). Both were great! However the WI-FI there is not good at all.

Love going camping there, very clean and peaceful! The bathhouses are very nice and the campsites are always a great location no matter what spot! Love going there and feeling like its going to a secret little place for a get away with my family!! Our favorite place to camp by far and the rates are perfect!! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a little get away!

Enjoyed being right on the Caney Fork River!WiFi only goes to the 1st Restroom so only a few campers have access to WiFi.Recommend upgrading the WiFi to cover the entire campground as TV reception is non existent without it!

Nice site, quiet. Wifi could be stronger with no cell service to speak of.

If somehow you could get better internet that would be great. I'm not sure we could call 911 if needed.

Campround and what they can control are all great!I was hoping the river would be better suited for fly fishing. With all the rain lately the water was higher than I'd like and the dam seemed to have 3 generators going about everyday we were there.

The grass has not been mowed in a very long time.
@MarcyC5398304 · Camped on May 22, 2025 at Campsite #30
Everything was great except the grasses were super tall and the boat ramp at the dam was cluttered with debris; we hand cleared half to launch, which was used by Everyone. Understandable with the storms and rain; however, it was Memorial Day, and stayed like that for the whole weekend.

Nice campground and staff.

This campground is below the dam on the Caney river. Not a good place for kids to play, swim or fish really. You can fish from the dam steps or the boat ramp but when they are generating the water is turbulent. It is beautiful and peaceful. The closest stores for forgotten supplies is about 15 minutes away. The campground does NOT have or store or even firewood. There is a closer station but it closes at 6pm so you have to plan for that. Canoe the Caney was a great adventure! You can experience the river and fish while kayaking/canoeing, about 15 min. to their pickup location/storefront.

The campground is very nicely laid out. We stayed in site 29 and it was levelno blocking up. It was very spacious. Seemed like most on the inner circle were the same. Other family stayed in site 6 on the Caney and very littke leveling required there. Grandson and friends spent lots of time at playground. Really good experience. The only reason I didnt give a 5 star rating was because the grass was VERY high. I think a fellow camper said the Grass had been cut once or twice since opening and all COE campgrounds are experiencing the same with cut back made.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
