Beautiful park but not big rig friendly.

The Camp Host were awesome as usual! The grounds how ever are a different story, the grass had not had any attention in a while. It was over knee high literally in most of the park. We were there 2 weeks and the mowers did come on the day before our last. The rip-rap around camp sites and drainage areas was overtaken by weeds. The bath house was ok but could have been better, cleaning better would make all the difference. All in all I will go back just as I have for years, just wish the Corp would put maintenance/cleaning back out to bid and the old company come back.

Nice playground, our spot provided shade, the spots are a bit tighter / closer than we like but we still enjoyed it. We were able to see a pretty sunset each night!

Grass had not been mowed in weeks. We were there two weeks prior and it hadnt been mowed then neither. Had to walk in tall grass to get to adjacent site.

We loved staying there. The park rangers were extremely nice and helpful. They kept a good eye on everything, which made me feel safe.The restrooms are clean and the washer and dryer are free to use!The scenery is beautiful here!

This was a lovely site with tons of shade. It was very close to both Burgess Falls and Cummins Falls. The only downside is that the sites are VERY close together. If someone is snoring, everyone can hear it, not just the people at your campsite.

The grounds were overgrown. Grass needed cut and there were 2-3 foot weeds growing in the campsites. Grills were not cleaned. I have stayed here many times and have never seen it in such disarray. Very disappointing to see it being let go like this.

The Host are not like any other that has been there, they are not there to help you. The grounds had not been mowed in several weeks. We have camped there for years and this is the first time it has not been a good experience.

Such a great location! Very family friendly and quiet. They do not sell firewood so be sure to bring some if you plan on a fire. A sunset swim is a must in my opinion. We will definitely be back.

The camp site made me feel and my family feel safe. Also, those in charge of the camp site were out rotating every hour to check on everyone. A first aid was needed while we were swimming and because the directors were out doing their daily rounds, the child got attention immediately. Definitely will recommend again.

Nice sites. Restrooms are a little more spaced out than youd like. Dont know why some of them are closed with no sign of work happening.

We have been camping at Floating Mill for almost 10 years. This year we were disappointed that the grounds dont seem to be getting mowed regularly.

Nice full hook up site, right along the lake shore. Spaces were kind of tight (as compared to most USACE CGs). The only challenge was getting out of the park - very steep & sharp turns for a Class A motor home! Fortunately it was too crowded & we were able to get out; probably would be more challenging on a busy holiday weekend.

Very nice camp ground everyone was super nice just wish the bathroom / shower room had less bugs but it is camping
@BrianH5151092 · Camped on May 16, 2025 at Campsite #10
Campsites for RVs are very close together and backing into site was very difficult since it is very hilly. I seriously thought the motor home was going to tip over. Once in the site camp ground was quiet. Bathroom was clean but needs updating.

The stairs are too steep for an enjoyable experience at this campsite.
@RobertN6611454 · Camped on May 13, 2025 at Campsite #44
It is a tight and steep campground. There are a few good spots for a big rig, but many sites would be tough for any size towable. Location is quite remote and far from any store. Appears to be a popular spot for fishing and has a fish cleaning station.

Very accommodating park host. Friendly and helpful even with late check in. World class view of lake and woods.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
