Weve been many times but never stayed on the hill. The sites are very spacious and offer decent privacy. The park employees/hosts were VERY friendly and pleasure to converse with they are definitely an asset to this park.

This is a hidden gem. We had a campsite on the lake. The lake was great for swimming. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

It was a beautiful park with anice flat tent site. Our lot was a tent only site and we had to carry our stuff down (and back up a steep hill. But we had a great view of the lake, and the site had power and water, so it was well worth it! The showers and bathrooms were clean and the camp host was very friendly. It seems like a pretty good place to have a base when going hiking on they plateau.

We stayed 13 nights on Site 15 during July in a 40 Class A. The site was easy to back into but not level either side-to-side or front-to-rear, so bring leveling gear. There was some shade but in the afternoon the site was in virtually full sun, so we spent less time outside than we otherwise might have. The site offered good lake access, you could easily tie up a small boat there, and overlooked three tent sites, so midweek it was pretty quiet. It was reasonably private and overall, I would say one of the nicer waterfront sites if you dont mind full sun in the afternoon. The campground was in line with what weve learned to expect at COE facilities: well-maintained, bath houses were kept clean, some bugs but thats part of camping. Very friendly staff, we felt very safe on site. People were also extremely friendly and didnt abuse the rules. Another great COE camping experience!

Facility is good. There is a beach by the gate. The only inconvenience thing is you have to park at a public parking place, and then move your stuff to your campsite by hand.

Great campsite. Clean restrooms. Laundry service is wonderful. Only complaint was that somebody smoked while taking a shower and stank up the whole restroom. Not Raglands fault, but why? Are people that inconsiderate? Other than that, a perfect camping experience.

So much driftwood we could barely get to the Easter, the tent sites are rocks and not comfortable at all. And they were about a raging flood in the rain ... we were miserable.

The overall stay was pretty decent . The scenery was absolutely beautiful. The swimming area is nice with the sand . The bathrooms were very clean and tidy . Nice and warm in the morning . The camp staff was nice and friendly . However there were some cons . The trek up and down from the campsite was terrible . Definitely need to redo the stairs or make it more accessible. Also you go camping to enjoy the QUIET . Quiet hours were supposed to be from 10 pm to 6 am . On Saturday night however you can hear music blasting from down the lake at the nearest marina until midnight , its extremely annoying when you have children trying to get to sleep and you want to enjoy being outside . Should definitely have been disclosed before making the reservation. And game wardens were flashing bright lights in through our tents up until midnight as well , also very annoying .

Plenty of shade and great view of the lake. This site and the one past it or excellent for someone camping together as they are a bit close on that one side. As always nice clean campground with excellent camp host Tom.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
