Beautiful, well maintained campground with great park staff. We loved this park but be aware that it is set on a very steep hillside. There were not any trails to walk, at least close to the campground. We camped there in a 43-foot fifth wheel and got around ok but if you stay in one of the lower sites with a rig this large you may have trouble getting around. The sites are also very close together. Would definitely stay here again though.

Nice park , however stayed 2 weeks and no sign of the mowing service . The lawn is beyond out of control . We stay here every year for the past 5 years and this is first time we were a little disappointed. Also it would be nice to re paint site numbers as they are beyond recognizable We had neighbors come in and could not find there site for a while

This is not for the campground as we did not make it to the slip. If your travel trailer is large, make sure you check with the park rangers to ensure you will fit. This is for the rangers that helped me directly. The rangers on station were amazing, helped my family get out of a tight spot with the travel trailer and get to a site that would fit our travel trailer. Wed been on the road for three days at the time and they helped us greatly.

The gentleman in the check in booth was friendly and out going, unlike some of the others we meet. The whole campground was clean and inviting. We camp there 3 or 4 times a year. Love the the place and the lake.

Very nice campground located near Sparta and Smithville. Parking is on level pavement and with FHU. There are some sites closer to the lake that is water-electric only. The park is sort of terraced. Plenty of camp-hosts onsite and they are friendly. We would stay here again.
This is one of my all-time favorite parks: always friendly staff, beautiful grounds and facilities; concrete pad with full services; great boat ramp and swim beach. The lake is higher than it has been in years, and looked great for it.

Our favorite park in TN. REST ROOMS WERE very clean and well maintained.
Very clean, the lake is beautiful, bathrooms very clean and well cared for. Sites are small, but adequate, quiet campground considering how many people where there
