Great campground. Lots of level sites. Many are pull throughs. Wifi and cell service is sketchy. It seems to be better early morning. The camp host said that the Wifi router is at the bathhouse where the laundry is located. It still wasnt very strong but it was better.

Lovely campground. We've been camping here on Labor Day for 20+ years. However, this time was the worst experience ever! The campground host, Brenda, was extremely rude. Her husband first came by at 2 pm to see if we were leaving. I said yes, and we were breaking camp. We also had a 4 month old that we had to tend to. He came back by a few minutes later to tell us that we didn't have a reservation for that night, which I had already told him that we didn't and were packing up. Then Brenda came by to harass us further. She told us checkout was 2 pm and another camper had the spot for that night. She said they'd been waiting 2 hours. She also said that we "weren't hurrying". Again, we were actively packing up and had to stop everytime one of them came by. Yes, we were late. I apologized and said we were "hurrying" and had a baby to take feed also. We left. But after I got home to find that I had 2 missed calls and 1 voicemail from Brenda, I got angry all over again by Brenda's excessive rudeness. The calls were at 2:06 & 2:07. The message she left said that checking out was 2:00 and "you need to get out", "you're not hurrying to get out", "another camper has already been waiting 2 hrs". No "thank you, goodbye", just "you need to get out" and hung up. I was compelled to call Brenda and return the courtesy she extended. I told her that the reason I didn't get her calls at 2:06 & 2:07 was because 1. there is horrible cell service in the campground, and 2. I WAS BUSY PACKING UP TO LEAVE. Yes, we were late, and I apologized, but that having another camper waiting 2 hrs is not my concern because they are not GUARANTEED that site until 3 pm. They got there too early. Brenda was bullying and harassing us to get out so she could get them in EARLIER than the 3 pm check in.

Rules mean nothing....some spots had 4 or 5 cars...bus on 89 had 6 or 8 kids who played in the street...sometimes til 11:00 at night...several sites had 4 to 5 tents. We have camped here for years and never had anything like this. One little girl almost ran into our car on a motorized scooter looking off...the rules on our reservation can keep this park number one. If you don't know you can't fix the problem.

Great place to stay (if you can get a campsite). We always enjoy the lake, the roomy campsites, sewer hook up, and the cost is incredible.

The camp hosts, Brenda and Ken, are excellent. They are very friendly and go out of their way to help campers.
