Campsites are well spaced and clean. Bathrooms are also very clean and well stocked with toilet paper and plenty of hot water.

Thank you for allowing my camper to stay on site while I was taken to ER for emergency surgery and recovery days that gave my friends and family time to help me move my rig. This was something I never thought took place in this day and age. Theres still Pleanty of kindness and help when its truly needed. Even from a national park system. Thank you again from very happy camper

The campground is incredibly nice and well kept with lovely hiking trails and is strategically close to Lake Michigan. The ticks were sadly plentiful.

The Platte River Campground is most beautiful campground we have stayed in! Naturally beautiful, well-maintained, clean, wonderfully level sites, nice bathrooms/showers and trails. We will be back!

This campground was lovely. Sites were well spaced and services readily available. The rangers were extremely helpful, the trails well maintained and in general, one of the best campgrounds we've attended (and there's been many) during this month and a half trip.Our one and only complaint was the lack of internet (which is so very necessary when traveling long term). We understand this was due to the national economic shutdown.

This is a beautiful campground! Can't wait to go again! Power was out a few times due to high winds but was resolved in a reasonable time frame.

It was an excellent campground. The sites were spacious, and the distance between them was wide enough, which made it really nice. However, at my site, the trailer entrance and the picnic table were positioned on opposite sides, which was a bit disappointing. Also, since the table was fixed to the ground, we couldnt move it to our preferred spot, which was another minor inconvenience.Aside from that, the surroundings and the well-maintained campsite were all very satisfying.

This is a great campground. Clean and the spaces are not right on top of each other. The bathroom and shower facilities are clean and heated-a plus when tent camping in the fall. This is the first time I had a spot across the road from the bathroom and the one thing I wish was a little different is how far the light from the bathroom shines at night. I know the building needs to be illuminated at night, but the light inside the bathroom is so bright it actually shines across the road and into my tent. It wasn't super bright where I was, but one of the perks about camping is how dark it gets at night for sleeping. I didn't have one of the spots next to the bathroom and didn't know this would be an issue. That said, there is a reason this is consistently ranked as a top campground in Michigan. Very well maintained, friendly staff, and great access to Lake Michigan and trails.

These features are what we liked: a significant discount if you are a "America the Beautiful" National Parks cardholder, RV lots were spacious and far apart, showers had very hot water, dedicated dish washing room (again with very hot water) between shower rooms, campground was very quiet and had access to trails off each loop.

Definately a campground to return to. Very nice. Large sites with some privacy. Nice flush toilets and showers.

We love this park its beautiful, the sites are spacious and lots of trees. Its not like others that are like camping in a parking lot. The Rangers at the office are very friendly and helpful. The national park has so many things to do, hikes, bike trails, and beaches. The river is fun for tubers and kayaking. Just a beautiful area all around.

The sites are spread nicely through the campground giving a feeling of more privacy. The facilities were clean and easily accessible. The walking path to Lake Michigan was beautiful. My husband fished at many of the small lakes close by giving several wonderful fish dinners! It was a great week.

One of the top campgrounds in the country. We visit annually. The area offers an abundance of beaches, freshwater, lakes, bike paths, hiking, rock hounding, antiquing, shopping.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
