One of the worst campsites Ive stayed at (B23 in particular) surrounded incredibly close by 5 neighboring camps (right, left, directly behind and 2 directly across) without even any trees or types of designating lines between them. Had 2 tents within 10 unobstructed feet of ours, and kids cutting though our camp all night for the bathrooms. Other sites not in the middle island of the loop seemed somewhat better

Good facilities and beautiful stars visible overhead. The campground is conveniently located next to the park entrance and the lake.

Had a wonderful, relaxing time. A little smoky due to a fire that was near.

Facilities were so nicely maintained, water and bath houses were close and convenient. We were super impressed at how nice both loops A and B were as we stayed in both. We would definitely return!

Great camp spot with lots of room. Furthest from the store and lake but still a short walk all things considered.Would stay in same spot again.Love the campgrounds that have a little infrastructure to them. Not too much, just right.

Overall great location and campground. Pros: location and scenery. The stars are unreal and so clear. It was peaceful and pretty quiet and clean the first few nights. Paid showers available; would be $$$ if youre only there for a night. Its $5 to get the lock code for each gender so $10 for three of us but thats about the same as we paid for the quarter run showers at the other campground over the week. Cons: service at the store was weird and slow. Like we were ghosts. Multiple employees looked right through/past us as I waited a good 10 minutes to checkout with a few items and get the shower codes. The last night we were there brought us into a holiday weekend and it was loud well past 10 PM. Loud groups, crying and whining kids, car alarms and doors opening and closing well past 1 AM. Bathrooms also expectedly were messy by that evening and the morning we were leaving. Id stay here again but not on a weekend or peak time.

Wonderful! Camping was great, kayaking on the lake was wonderful, and took a bike ride from Manzanita Lake up to the Devastation Area, very scenic!

We had a wonderful experience. The campground is clean and mostly quiet. Everyone honored the 10 pm, which is important to us. It is next to a beautiful lake that you can stroll around about a 1.5 mile trail. There is a store with a gas pump, ice for sale, and a small caf to to go items. The bathrooms were mostly clean but the faucets and soap dispensers need maintenance. Some sites have new tables but some have old nasty tables. Only about half of the sites are level but all suitable for a tent. We recommend this campground.

We split our stay across 2 sites - A33 and B11 were both great, close to bathrooms and had ample shade. The general store is open 8am-8pm and you can pay $5 for the shower code which you can then use for your entire stay. We had a great weekend and would come back anytime!

Excellent campground! The sites were spacious and pleasant. Bathrooms on our loop had no lights at night, which was weird but fine. They were kept clean and stocked. The campground general store here is A+---showers $5 (code given and then available 24-7 as much as you want), laundry machines decently priced and the washer was fast (about 30 min). They even have a good snack bar.

Manzanita Lake Campground is a perfect base to explore the Lassen region. Sites are clean and level with excellent amenities and a great store for essentials and firewood. Rangers patrol regularly and it seems like a safe environment.

Starting with the reservation process. Reserving online was fast and simple. Very self explanatory even with putting in our lifetime pass number.Arriving on check in date, I wasnt really sure if we needed to check in. Stopped at store and was advised that check in was done online so we didnt need to do anything. He also stated if there was any problems to see the camp host which they were in loop A. We got to our spot which was clean and no trash around. Nice big site. Bathrooms were clean and no smell to them. Settled in nicely. The next day went to the store to get firewood. Yes, firewood is $15 but it was fine. We had a neighbor share a couple of pieces of wood when they left and we paid that forward for a family that just had arrived when we left.At the store we purchased the shower at $5 for each person for the time there. Well I guess I should have looked before. The door to the womens shower room did not close. For me that was a deal breaker. There were like 5 shower stalls with curtains to close off each stall. I left my husband there to take his shower and I went back to the camper and took mine. Was trying to save water. It turned out just fine. The store clerk was extremely helpful and nice. We did not buy anything from the coffee/food counter but was opened and busy. Which to me it signals good food/coffee and service.Down by the lake there is a place to rent kayaks to go out on the lake. There is also a path you cant take to walk around the lake. If Im not mistaken it is 1.8 miles. A pretty short trail.The only drawback/take away was the neighbor next to us thought it was OK to walk right through our camp. I suppose being from a different country it is not a big deal to them. Otherwise I would recommend staying at Manzanita Lake.

We had a lovely time at Mt. Lassen. Spent time hiking in the mornings and kayaking in the afternoons. Campgrounds were fine, nice & clean. Enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyed the campground. The camp host and rangers were prompt and professional when dealing with some extremely loud after hours campers in our loop. Enjoyed the bird walk and bear presentations given by the rangers ! There was so much to see and do in the entire surrounding area that we will have to come back for another visit !

We had a nice camping spot, fairly level, with lots of room behind our site. Some showers needed repair. Used the dump station on the way out

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
