Beautiful. Could see the stars very clearly. Was very very cold but that was to be expected.

Great campsite right by the lake and visitor center with plenty of amenities

Our campsite was set slightly apart from others, which kept things quieter. Despite it being a Saturday night, people observed the quiet hour rules. The sites, restrooms and surrounding area were clean. The visitors center, with wifi access even at closed times, was about a 15-minute walk away, as was the trailhead to an excellent short hike to Chaos Crags Lake. And the walk around the lake at sunset was gorgeous, with Lassen perfectly reflected in the water.

The camp host was unhelpful and rude. As far as I can tell the only thing she did was drive her car around 5 minutes before noon to yell at people that check out was at noon. And I literally mean yell. Otherwise, refer to the sign with all of the information you should need to know and dont bother to ask any questions.

Beautiful spot, well maintained, wonderful, relaxing experience

The lake is beautiful and there were kayak and SUP rentals available. I wish I wouldve reserved a cabin because they looked very cozy. I didnt go in but there was a campground store and gasoline (no diesel) available.

We had reservation for 4 nights in early October. When we left, the dump station was locked leaving us scrambling. We paid $20 to dump at the KOA. Otherwise, we had a.great time.

Great place to stay and would come back. The Host was mot very informative and did not tell us the loop we were in was closed the next day for the winter. We had to move our camp the next morning to another loop.

Manzanita Lake is beautiful year round. The camp sites are tidy and well maintained. Restrooms were clean. Paid showers had plenty of hot water and there is even a camp store that makes lattes!Lassen Park is a local gem that gives you so many options for hiking, kayaking and just soaking in the beauty!

Large rather busy campground. We stayed in the tent only loop so did not have as much disruption with generators. There is a camp store and an easy walk down to the lake.

Our campsite was clean and very spacious. The bathrooms were also clean and well-stocked. My only suggestion is that you switch to 2-ply toilet paper. One must pull off lots of the thin stuff that you currently provide in order to get clean and dry. We explored throughout the park while there. Two gems nearby to check out are the McArthur-Burney Falls and the Subway Cave. We had a wonderful time at Lassen.

Clean campground and big space.

Very pretty and heavily forested campground. Facilities in poor conditions, even by National Park standards.Many sites RV friendly, even for trailers up to 30 feet

No one at the campground could help me switch sites. No one from recreation.gov could help me switch sites either. We ended up just camping in an empty site. Employees at camp store seemed bored and annoyed they had to be there. This campsite is run by a company not by NPS.

Prime location in the park near the visitor center, close to the lake, nice campground with showers and store

We had a reservation for two nights, someone was camping in our camp site and we had to contact the camp host, since the campers were not there. Although the camp host moved us to another site, the host was rude and demeaning.Otherwise, Lassen is a hidden gem of a NP.

Great location, very clean, and spacious sites. The only (BIG) negative was that the staff collecting garbage has NO respect for those who believe in recycling. Everything we separated and put in the appropriate recyclable containers were just thrown in the garbage truck right in with the rest of the non-recyclable trash.

Had a great time camping in Lassen. Campsite had lots of space, a little on a slant but tent site was good. Parking was on a curved pathway which was great. Restrooms were stocked and clean, I walked to D Loop which was closer than C Loop that I was in. Campground was clean and easy to navigate around. Camp Store was out of Wood on a Friday night around 4pm which was a disappointment. Showers cost 5 dollars and required a code, hot water would fade out into warm to cool water.

The site was great. You only have 1 neighbor on one side of you which is nice. The campground was nice and clean. There were several hiking trails the are right near the campground. And the lake is right there as well.

It is nice to have a little walk to the Manzanita Lake at the evening. What was not so good at the campground: It was not signed, wether a place has a reservation or not. That causes some confusions.

Lovely, well-maintained campground

Very well laid out campground (loop b), clean restrooms, clean showers. Small but decently stocked camp store. Enjoyed our nights there.

The campground was lovely/ There is a general store with anything you might have forgotten to pack. the lake is small and nice for a walk around. Wi-fi available at the museum. Beware. The campground host was horrible! She was very rude and seemed upset to be asked any questions. She told us not to come to her site even though she had an open sign up and is the camp host. I saw other campers have terrible interactions also with this woman who clearly does not want to do her job or be a host.

Nice campground, recommended. We enjoyed our visit. Of course it was helpful to have a place to wash dishes - most of the bathhouses included a sink. There was also running water in the restrooms during the season when we visited. Lake was walking distance from the A loop. Most of the sites were occupied while we were there, as expected. We could see and hear our neighbors, however we felt there was a comfortable level of space between sites. Quiet hours were closely observed when we visited -- all guests were very respectful.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
