Had site A 22. Pull through that slopes off in the front half of sight. Neighbor sites are close by. One way road so picnic for site is on drivers side so not convenient with rv. Interior roads have lots of overhanging branches but its doable. Not many sites are friendly for taller 5th wheels. Made the best of it. Park itself was nice. No Verizon service.

Very nice. Clean. Quiet. Large spaces. Great store with gas! We will spend more time in future and use lake.

I loved this campground. Sites are roomy, it was really quiet too.

Needs WiFi at least.

Absolutely wonderful campgrounds, within 5 minute walk of the lake. Sites were large, not super close to each other and had plenty of shade! Fire rings, bear boxes and picnic tables came with all sires, also very convenient to have camp store about 5 minutes walk away with food.

We stayed at a secluded site with a nice fire pit. The showers are clean and warm and you just have to pay $5 for the code (for everyone in your party) to access them. The lake itself is gorgeous and was warm enough to sit on an inner tube and read.

It is a large campground which means privacy is limited. In site A21, we only had one close neighbor. A large tent or multiple tents would easily fit in this site. Overall very clean and well maintained. Would stay here again.

Manzanita Lake is awesome and challenging to fish. Beautiful setting indeed. The campground is well maintained and organized but some of the sites are just ill conceived and too close together or right on the road. We had some problems with overhead branches in our fifth-wheel and our "pull-through" site was really a pull in but back out.

I love the tent only areas...and the lake is awesome.

Large camp ground with multiple spots for groups. Shower and store and GAS available.

This place was perfect! So close to popular spots in the park. I liked being near the lake as well! The camper store had everything you could need. Spaces were large and clean. The bathrooms were clean as well. Honestly, no complaints. I would stay here again.

Beautiful lake. The store offers showers, and the bathrooms have running water and flush toilets. Some loops like "B" seem to have sites right on top of each other- no bushes to give privacy. We were on the outside of A loop and had plenty of space.

The campground is large and has amazing tree cover. We weren't quite sure where our tent should go as the spots are really close together and there wasn't a designated area for the tent. The bear lockers worked great, but one thing to note is that each loop shares one bathroom facility. The campground was pretty loud with lots of families but overall a great spot.

The maintenance crews were out every day and did a commendable job of keeping a busy campground well cared for. I know, unfortunately, that long term maintenance issues have been underfunded for years. That makes me all the more appreciative of the work your people do to provide a good experience.

The area was crowded but quiet and clean.

We have tent-camped here two times now. It's a nice, neat, and clean campground. Campsites are adequately spaced between sites. Restrooms kept clean. Path to Lake Manzanita was easy to find and the trail around the lake is easy to walk. Noticed several people renting the kayaks on the lake. Beautiful area! Would certainly recommend!

It was fantastic.

Campers should refrain from walking through others sites just to save a few steps to the bathroom. Every bathroom has a paved path to it so no need to be rude. Also generator hours are not a suggestion but a regulation.

Our family had a great experience tent camping at the Manzanita Lake Campground. We stayed for five nights in mid-July. The campground, bathrooms and showers were very clean. The roads and trails were well marked and maintained. We would defiantly do it again.

Great general campsite for families. Generally, I am open to differing levels of accommodations at national parks, but I was very impressed with the campsite. Large sites on the D loop, walking distance to the lake, and close to a lot of amenities (like the general store). I intend to come back in the future.

Typical Park Service campground in a beautiful setting. Make sure to walk around the lake to get a wonderful look at Mt Lassen. There are no electrical hookups, typical for the PS. The store has all the basics, and there are showers and gas. There is no cellphone service at the campground, but you can get a signal on the other side of the lake. The nearby visitor center has free WiFi. The park offers great hikes and beautiful scenery. A wonderful place to visit, usually with few crowds.

Beautiful lake, morning hike around the lake spectacular with birds, ducks & fish jumping.

The campsite was big and we had no one behind us other than just the forest at night it felt like we were alone looking towards the trees, we liked it. It was also close to the restrooms and trash cans. Even though there are trees around we did not get much shade in the morning, like the campsite next to us.

Very spacious sites, felt secluded even though the campsite was fully booked when we were there. Clean, simple bathrooms with a very nice camp store and very easy access to Manzanita Lake. Will definitely stay again!

Loved the lake and the fact that you could rent kayaks on site. Some cell service is only thing I can think of to improve on. You can get Wifi at the museum, but it's kind of a pain to go back and forth there daily. Camp sites were nice and it's the first camp ground I've stayed at where there is usually hand soap in the bathrooms.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
