Beautiful. Could see the stars very clearly. Was very very cold but that was to be expected.

The lake is beautiful and there were kayak and SUP rentals available. I wish I wouldve reserved a cabin because they looked very cozy. I didnt go in but there was a campground store and gasoline (no diesel) available.

Of the three main campgrounds in the park, this is our favorite. Easy to access, sites are all mostly level, has all the amenities you could need, and is relatively close to most of the main hikes and attractions in the park. Definitely recommend.

It's a great place to camp. The hike around Manzanita Lake and Reflection Lake are great hikes and even child friendly.

We had a great time at this campground! Bathrooms were spread out throughout and easy to get to. My kids loved having a lake so close by so we could adventure without having to drive somewhere. We intended to see more of Lassen natl park but on one of our days, drove two hours down to the Southside entrance only to find some of what we were interested in, was not accessible due to snow (in June!). This Florida girl did not anticipate that being possible in June. Otherwise a beautiful trip!!

A beautiful spacious campground with a hiking trails and lake activities. The campground amenities were not as available. Do you expect to have a shower or use the laundry room. Both were shut down during our five day stay. The store had very limited supplies. There was no campground host or additional employees to enforce the rules, such as smoking or quiet time.

Wonderful place to camp. We enjoyed the hike around the lake and the wildlife we saw.We missed a ranger to force our neighbor to stop running the noisy generator all day long.

Such a pleasant camping experience. Sites are spacious and well equipped. We had an amazing trip to the park and our camping experience made it all the wonderful. We'll be back.

Very clean bathrooms and the store is awesome. They have so much cool stuff there! Did I forgot the views from Lake Manzanita? No I didn't because they were awesome. Late September and the creeks were all flowing and they still had the small waterfalls going. Great place campgrounds are awesome and the fire-pits are great so buy some wood from the store! Thanks Lassen Volcanic National Park staff you all are doing a great job up there!

Stayed in loop A space A4. Was a great time and enjoyed the campgrounds, the little market and the lake. The camp hosts Walt and I believe Clara were exceptionally friendly and helpful in explaining the sights to see and the best routes to see them. Campground location made it easy for us to explore a great deal of the park and we were not disappointed with our experience.

This site was missing its picnic table. Other than that large flat area for a tent. Not much shade to cover that. Was right next to an Area of downed trees with lots of sticks and wood for fires. No campers next to you . Easy walk to the bathroom and easy walk to the lake. Be sure to take a headlamp And hand sanitizer/soap and hand sanitizer/soap to the bathroom.
