Great sites w/ bear box, fire pits, picnic tables. Campground has bathrooms and running water for dishes.

Nice quiet campground. Payment is via the reacreation.gov app - note this is the only method of payment. It was really easy once I found the QR code, but had some trouble finding it. It is located on a board near the bathrooms, not at the entrance.

I arrived just at dark the last day Kings Canyon was open. The campground was empty but an employee drove up and was very friendly and helpful. I slept great and it was clean and quiet.

Lemplacement est vraiment super grand. Au calme, dans la toute premire boucle rserve au tente. En revanche, il faut remonter sur la route principale pour trouver des sanitaires.

Great location to visit the beauty of Kings Canyon NP. Awesome that you can walk to see General Grant the 2nd largest tree in the world! Certainly had everything needed to have a great camping experience in.

It was clean, quiet, and surrounded by many trees, making tent camping a comfortable experience. It was a great place to relax. However, the only disappointment was the lack of electrical facilities for charging large batteries.

Large sites. Nice location. We were a bit disappointed with some of the amenities. It was not pud that there had been a water main break and the restrooms would be out of order. Azalea campground is on the same road as Grant Grove. Very convenient.

We love this campground!! The peace and solitude the spaces provide is incredible. Although the bathhouses were closed due to a water main break we still loved it there and plan on returning again. It's super close to highly recommended hikes in the park.

Azalea Campground offers excellent amenities right at the campsite, making for a comfortable stay. The massive bear locker provided ample storage and security, and the awesome fire ring was perfect for cooking and evening relaxing. Furthermore, the main facilities were impressive: the restrooms were clean and featured reliable running water.However, be prepared for a few logistical inconveniences. The clean restrooms were quite a distance from our loop, requiring a significant walk. More frustratingly, the water faucet near our specific spot was broken/missing, which forced us to haul water from another area. Despite these utility issues, the quality of the main site features made this a worthwhile spot.
