very cute. most of the ground is on a slight decline; however, it was easy to work around it!

I love this camp site. I have been going for over 20 years. The sites have a good size. The facilities are fine. The proximity to other amenities in Grant Grove village is a great bonus. I prefer midweek to the weekends when it can get a lot noisier.

Beautiful campground, so close to General Grant! Way less crowded than Sequoia National park. Only thing Id say was that our site (3) was very uneven ground. We used a tent but ultimately it was such a lovely campground that the uneven ground wasnt even that bad.

Arrived mid September. Hard to find trash cans and was swarmed by wasps when I was cooking breakfast. Hard to get directions around this part of the park because the signage is bad.

Clean and beautiful camp grounds. Always leave it better than you found it! Even if you see a bottle cap that wasnt yours, pick it up and put in trash, please.Bear lockers, grill, table provided. Only negative is no showers. If they had pay for showers that might offset cost for maintenance

Great campsites! We went in late June and there were few mosquitos. The market is within walking distance and is well stocked with dry groceries, firewood, cold drinks, and select camping/hiking gear. The sites are relatively spacious and separated from one another. This is a great place to stay in Kings Canyon!

So our experience seeing the Sequoia was incredible with General Grant being in walking distance of the camp and General Sherman being a relatively short drive away. The Grant Grove Stables, also close by provided a pleasant experience of a guided tour of the forest by means of horseback. Twin Valley BBQ about a half hour away makes for a nice treat. If I had to say anything about the drawbacks it largely stemmed from our timing which was late August. The fire restrictions that resulted from dry conditions barred any use of coal or wood fires and the Yellow Jackets/Meat Bees were out in force so be sure to keep put away picnic food when not in use. Lastly, there aren't any showers nearby and the Grove Market didn't provide any alternatives like wipes and the like, so I would recommend planning for no bathing facilities. Overall though it was a great time and looking forward to doing this again.
