This is a beautiful campground in a very convenient location. The sites are spacious and well-laid out. I am not giving five stars for two reasons: The number of sinks and toilets is on the low side, we often had to wait to be able to use THE sink in the mens/womens bathroom. Also, soap in the bathrooms would be great. But there generally seems to be no soap in any of the bathrooms in the entire park, which is unusual for a National Park.

Beautiful campground. Huge trees and boulders everywhere. Looked like AI. Our site was huge with a great fire pit and nice picnic table. Plenty of room for both of our tents without having to be too cramped together. Very quiet and peaceful. Bathrooms were clean and there were lots of them. Great location too, close to the visitor center and the General Grant Tree.

Site 81 is a great location--set back from the road through camp, up on a little crest, good shade. It's between two bathrooms, very convenient. Great spot for families.

PROS: It's centrally located with lots of great trails and sights nearby. CONS: Yes, it was summer and there are kids and more noise than other times of the year. Expected and not at all an issue for me. I actually enjoy the sounds of families having fun, and I get my solitude on the trails. What was an issue were the campers who decided it was fine to blast their crappy music over loudspeakers for the rest of the campground to endure. Numerous people complained (I wasn't one of them... I'm trying to chill and noise cancelling earbuds are a Godsend). Finally, after quite a bit of time had passed a Park Ranger showed up and gave them a warning. Didn't help much... the "music" came down a bit but not much. Camp managers seriously didn't hear it? Or they just don't care? So I've got to dock some points for less-than-optimal campground management.

Overall nice campsite. Great location with easy access to Sequoia and Kings Canyon, unfortunately Kings Canyon is closed for 2023.

Beautiful campground. Very clean and quiet . We saw deer walking through a few times. We will definitely come back here.
