Site N is a nice spot. Spacious, party shaded with two big sequoias on site. Has two parking pads: fit a sprinter-van, Toyota Tundra and Honda CRV. Its close to the rest room and water spigot. Yes there is only one restroom but there are others in the area if you cant wait a few minutes. There are sewer caps onsite but we didn't smell anything foul. Beautiful campground and area.

Great campground in a very beautiful area. You are sleeping under giant redwoods and sequoias. Bathroom on site but unfortunately no shower. Small store and restaurant walking distance from the campgrounds is

The campsite was very spacious and easy to find. Restrooms were very close which was very convenient. Both bear boxes were right next to each other and lower to the ground which made it easy to place in heavy coolers. However, most of the area was at a slight incline that even the park picnic tables were at an incline. That made sitting at the picnic tables uncomfortable. The fire pit was at a perfect spot, the area felt nice and very within the forest. We even got to see a few deer walk past us !

This camp site was a decent distance from the restrooms, just keep in mind there are only 2 individual toilets and a wash bin at the restroom location. there is a water spout on the site as well. The site itself was big with 3 picnic tables, though one table had a broken leg and was being supported by a large root and was a bit wobbly, but got the job done nonetheless. There was plenty of shaded areas to place our tents, we were able to set up 6 large tents up with plenty of shaded area to spare. There is a large area on this site that is not shaded where the picnic tables are, I'd recommend bringing your own canopy for some extra shade. Hume lake is a short drive away, highly recommend checking it out!

It was a great big place for a big family you have access near the restroom and you can walk around and explore

This site is flat and spacious, and is the highest campsite in the campground. Is on the exterior of the group campground and separated by a substantial drop and a creek from the individual campground so it's relatively private.

It was a good location. Walking distance to the General Grant Tree, the visitor center and the village. Very convenient. We had site D. Had enough flat spots for 4 tents. The bathroom is the only thing. One womens and one mens bathroom stall for the whole campsite. It seems the that it was getting cleaned or stocked frequently though.

Had site H. Shaded, fairly spacious, although it was pretty sloped in many spots. We were able to fit 6 tents and 15 people. Bear boxes ideally wouldve been slightly bigger but we made it work. Good location, walking distance (10 mins) to the village where there are clean bathrooms. There are only two single stall bathrooms at the campground. Not enough for a mid-sized group campground. Bathroom has a sink outside.

This site has 2 sewer caps on premise and the whole campground smelled. Grant overall campground, but site N is not it.

When we got to our campsite, someone had occupied our spot. So we had to move all their belongings outside of our campsite. A family near us didnt have any camping etiquette, they kept crossing our area to get to the other side. Overall, its still a good experience..

We had a disappointing experience at Crystal Springs Campground. When we arrived at our reserved site (Lot J), another group had taken over completely (From Lot L), using both our bear boxes (which they had filled with alcohol), surrounding our fire pit with their chairs, and leaving food waste (like egg shells) out in the open, despite posted rules regarding Bears. None of them were present, but their belongings were everywhere. It took over two hours to locate a ranger, who was helpful and eventually relocated us, but by then we had already lost our entire first day... time we had planned to explore Kings Canyon, which we couldn't see at all. While the campground itself looked nice, our experience was marred by poor enforcement and lack of oversight.

One of the best campsites Ive ever been. Bathrooms were super clean!
@IrisRBDF70D354 · Camped on May 30, 2025 at Campsite #K
Very noisy with other groups around. Theres only 1 bathroom for women and 1 for men, there was always a long line. The site we were on was K and it is the worst site you can reserve. It shouldnt be a site, especially for a group. Its so small and close to the other site.
@AgathaM070D7BB · Camped on Jul 26, 2024 at Campsite #E
We had Group site E. It was a very spacious spot. Water was across the site. Bathrooms were a swift walk away. My family had so much room to stretch our legs and play some games. Might try to make it an annual summer camp spot!

Stayed one night in a group site. Site was nice and shady, a lot of mosquitoes since its located by a small spring. Bathrooms were not too far away. They smelled awful due to other campers sharing it not being respectful. But would recommend the campground

Es un lugar increble para acampar, con una ubicacin perfecta para realizar senderismo, nadar en el lago y visitar las cascadas.

This camp was great. Bathrooms were always pretty clean and they have a sink that you can do dishes at at the bathrooms which was super helpful.

Site K was very sunny and had no natural shade. The Campground itself was pretty crowded. it was unclear where 1 campground ended and the neighboring one started. The weekend we visited, we also had very loud neighbors. There also wasn't enough bathrooms in my opinion for a mid-size campground. (There was only 1 bathroom and it was a fully booked campground). There are lots of trails though leading from the campground, including a panoramic trail and general Grant. the campground is easily accessible and convenient for hiking and adventuring.

Lots of folks rolling in very late on Friday night, it was a bit noisy. The campsite we were at had no shade, but it was great for star-gazing at night!
@pablov5C230550 · Camped on Aug 11, 2023 at Campsite #F
Came site was clean and has enough space for 3 big tents. No showers close by. Camp is close to the village where it is a market and restaurant. Camp site is surrounded by trees.
@PamelaH2928754 · Camped on Aug 2, 2023 at Campsite #E
Campsite was beautiful and toilets are flush- not outhouses when booking the maximum size said 15, however the group next to us easily had 25 people and 6 cars so that was kind of much but overall the campsite was beautiful. The map of The village right next to Chrystal Springs shows 2 shower houses which there was not, so that was really disappointing. Bring portable showers or water to wash off. Traffic this year was horrible due to the winter mayhem, getting a couple miles took 45 min

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
