Campsite #8 has to be one of the best, it's the most secluded and is right next to a beautiful meadow full of corn lilies! Most of the campsites along the edge of the campground had decent privacy, but the inner campsites are all almost on top of one another (look on the NPS website for a PDF map of the campground). The bathroom was clean, with running water and a dish room also not that far away at all, despite what other reviews have said. Literally a 2-minute walk along the road. Also very close to Grant Grove, I walked less than a mile to get there (took some random trails that went by the horse corral and trail).

We got it the day it opened in June. The campsites are nicely spaced, but the restrooms were far. No showers, but campsite is within walking distance of visiting center and grocery store.

Great campground. Bathrooms were clean, Bear lockers were large enough to fit our tall cooler, and the rules regarding food storage, trash disposal, and grey water dumping were very clear. Other campers were quiet and respectful (and very tolerant of our extremely friendly 5-year-old).

Great place to ground yourself.

Great, quiet campground. Site #8 may be the most private of the entire campground, and it's right next to a small meadow. The only downside is that the bathroom is a 2-3 minute walk away.

Great secluded campground in an excellent location. My spot was right next to the meadow and there were plenty of deer frolicking around to make it a unique experience!
