A very convenient camp site to Kings Canyon and Sequoia NP

Loved the campground. Folks were friendly and helpful. I even got a check-in visit. My site had two Giant Sequoias and I loved that. Leveling was a challenge, with a class C, I use leveling blocks and I was over 2 degrees off level using all of my blocks.

We loved this campground! The only downside with this spot is you are in a middle of a loop like a small island. Other then that we had a blast!

We stayed only one night but enjoyed the central location of the campground, spaced out/private sites, clean bathrooms, and overall beauty of the area. Azaleas were blooming!

Loved the setting under the huge pine trees. Quiet.Only suggestion would be to clean the ladies rest room more often

This campground is perfect for a little more privacy. It was spacious and you aren't right next to your neighbor in comparison to Lodgepole. Amenities are as described. This campground is perfect for visiting General Grant. We did the Ella Fall's Loop Trail that runs by Azalea. I would stay here again if visiting this side of the park.

Great place to stay for a few days while we explored the park. Convenient location, nice and quite, among beautiful big trees.

This place is magic! The trees are just fascinating! Creates a sense of wonder! The campground is very well kept. Its not necessarily quiet and I would say its kind of a suburban campground with a visitor center, hotel and restaurant. Four stars though! Cant wait to come back!!!

Nice campground with trees, fire pit. Very close to Grants Grove. We enjoyed our stay.

Azalea campground in SEKI is a great campground. It's located within an hour driving distance on either side of SEKI. I enjoyed being walking distance to General Grant, the visitor center, restaurant, and market. The campground itself was well maintained. The bathrooms were clean.

Central location was great. Nice surroundings. Bathrooms not as clean as I'd prefer, and no showers in the entire park because of covid.

Considering that all campsites were booked, everyone obeyed the "no campfires" rule, and even the bathrooms kept up with the volume of people using them which were cleaned every day. Our site had plenty of shade under the trees and although our rv parking pad was slightly downhill, we came prepared to deal with it. Unfortunately people were using the water spicket as a dish washing station, which the sign advises not to do, so eventually the surrounding area became muddy and unapproachable. There was a group of 10-12 people camping across from us, which is prohibited, but no one came around to advise them otherwise. They also parked off the pavement which is prohibited. They had paid for other sites where they parked their vehicles, but they all slept and ate in this same location. They were otherwise courteous and obeyed the curfew, but this is not good for the resilience of the campsite itself.
