Great views of Wheeler Peak. Sites are generously spaced apart. Nice concrete pad for the picnic table and fire ring. Highly recommend.

The campground is beautiful. The sites are laid out nicely. The water faucets were locked so we were not able to access water. We brought drinking water with us so we used that to wash our dishes. There are beautiful hikes , something for everyones abilities. The cave tour was great! We were unable to book the cave tour online, we arrived to the cave visitor center at 7:30am, waited in line and were able to sign up for both tours.

Wheeler Peak has become my favorite campground. Each campsite is nicely spaced, many backing meadows, which make for wonderful morning walks. Relatively quiet and cool.The pit toilets are clean and airy. Make sure to bring your own sanitizer and drinking water because at the time there was no water available.A wonderful stay

Probably the most beautiful campground i've ever been too. It has a meadow in the middle, and in fall the aspens are beautiful. Lots of privacy, bathroom was clean too.

Beautiful night sky viewing spot. Quiet and no generators allowed! Super camp host who clearly knows the land and loves his job.

Beautiful campground! The host was awesome.

Site 36 was perfect for us and our 19' Sprinter van. It was nice having the small creek run right next to us. The restroom was clean, and close by, but not too close. Site 36 is close to the Bristlecone and Lakes trailhead.

Our stay at Wheeler was excellent! The campsites are each unique and perfect! The facilities are immaculate! The visitors center suggested the perfect itinerary which included the ranger led astronomy night sky experience in the amphitheater which was well led and informative!

Wheeler Peak Campground is well-maintained and located in a stunning setting. We had an unobstructed view of the peak from our campsite and the stars were glorious. We are tent campers so appreciated the darkness and quiet. The pit toilets were remarkably odorless.

Campground felt new and clean. Lots of trees and separation between campsites so it was private and quiet. Easy access to trailheads to Wheeler Peak and the Bristlecone Pine trail (walk from the campsite). I was there first week of September and the temps were below freezing one night.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
