Great campground!

We camped in site 24. - which honestly was the largest site for a 30 travel trailer that would both accommodate the length and allow for leveling. The site had a very nice fire pit and picnic table and you could hike a short distance to reach Baker Creek. The site was excellent for dark sky views and close enough to the restrooms and trash cans. The campground is 1/2 mile down hill from the trails at the end of the FS Road that can go to Baker Lake. Its a 10 minute ride from the main road in the park that leads to the caverns visitor center. The road is washboarded and you can feel it and breath it.

Perfect spot for our road trip clean level close to restroom!

Beautiful site right on the creek

How about some signage? Typical lack of signs, almost like you want those poor b-tards in a class A to have to make a u-turn. Try driving your park like its the first time you have ever been there. How about trimming some overhanging trees ( on road and around pads) How about getting your money back from the contractor that didnt provide level pads like he was paid for? 80% of your pads are marginal (at best).

Baker Creek is about 3 miles up a dirt road but it is very beautiful location. From the east end of campground you can view the valley below. Grey Cliffs is a hike down and Baker Creek trail starts from the site. Not many of the sites are level for RVs.

Beautiful, well kept.

We stayed in site 20, and it was great! We couldn't see anyone other campers from our site, or the outhouse (though it was reasonably close). It was also quiet - pretty much all we heard most of the time was the creek and wind in the trees. One of the best sites ever.

Quiet location with excellent access to hikes and activities. Dark skies every night.

Lehman Caves and the drive up to Wheeler Peak make this park a must see. Bakr Creek campground is not big right friendly. I was able to get a 30 foot trailer into the campground, but only about 6 sites can accommodate a vehicle and trailer this size. The pull through sites are far from level and intended for smaller rigs and tent camping. If planning on a larger rv be sure to find the pull through sites and plan to have plenty of blocks to get level.

very nice campground. Just the right amount of space for each site.

This place was so beautiful! The campsite has a beautiful view of the sky. So you can sleep looking at the stars! Very spacious and secluded. It felt like we were the only ones there. Bathrooms and trash nearby in both directions, and we never lost signal! It was like 2 bars but still we were able to text. Perfect for astronomy

Excellent camping area. Turkeys wandered through the site. Be prepared for a dry camp.

Baker Creek was a nice campground from which to explore Great Basin National Park. The campground does have gravel roads and pads, so it is not as polished as campgrounds in some National Parks. It is comparable to many Forest Service campgrounds. Our only downside was a site next to a pit toilet, with its odor noticeable in parts of the campsite. In the future I would avoid that site if possible.

Very quiet and remote. Site 8 had a slight slope. Dirt road leading to campground was rough.

We camped at this facility for seven nights, spot # 16, creekside. It was excelent! To hear Baker Creek every day, having dinner listening to the tinkling of water was pleasant and relaxing. The table in this spot was down below the parking space and provided a cozy place of privacy. The 2.8 mile Baker Creek Road was gravel and wash-board as well as the campspots., but all worth it. Lots of spots here for r.v.'s and trailers. The park staff kept the pit toilets sparkling, frequently tending tot the and the garbage recepticles. Very clean. Many thanks to those guys!

Made a reservation for a 30 foot RV and when we arrived there was no space to park it! There was barely room for a car.You need to update your information on the website for that site! Very frustrated.

Campground was well maintained with clean and well stocked restrooms. All park personnel were very personable and good to talk to.

Most sites are challenging to level RV's and 5th wheels. I left because it was very difficult to book a stay longer than 1 day. A beautiful location tainted by poor management!
@MarthaS1892135 · Camped on Sep 12, 2025 at Campsite #29
I stayed at a walk in site and they were very close to the parking area. The night was clear and the Milky Way was out in full force! Very quiet and comfortable.

Our stay was pleasant and the park is great. there was quite a bit of campground traffic on Saturday night.
@Christoph81424 · Camped on Sep 12, 2025 at Campsite #31
We camped at #31 in the walk-in area. Tent site was flat. Campground clean. Toilets also very clean. Fire ban had been lifted so we had a small fire. Clear night with amazing star gazing.
@EricA2710263 · Camped on Sep 10, 2025 at Campsite #37
This campground is poorly managed with the 24 hour reservation scheme. During my 3 day stay I observed very few campsites occupied while on line it appears to be full.
@BillC8113752 · Camped on Sep 9, 2025 at Campsite #38
Site 38 in Baker Creek campground is barely a pulloff on the campground road, with a completely separate picnic table area.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
