Baker Creek is about 3 miles up a dirt road but it is very beautiful location. From the east end of campground you can view the valley below. Grey Cliffs is a hike down and Baker Creek trail starts from the site. Not many of the sites are level for RVs.

Baker Creek was a nice campground from which to explore Great Basin National Park. The campground does have gravel roads and pads, so it is not as polished as campgrounds in some National Parks. It is comparable to many Forest Service campgrounds. Our only downside was a site next to a pit toilet, with its odor noticeable in parts of the campsite. In the future I would avoid that site if possible.

Hike up to Btistle cone grove was awesome, as was the scenic drive up to the trail head.

Lots of room for our two tents, and beautiful surroundings. Clear view of the sky, which was great at night but made the tents quite warm for a mid-day nap (we visited in early September).

Well-spaced camp sites, quiet, well-maintained with clean facilities. Excellent trail from the campsite to the Baker Creek trailhead.

We travel and camp in a 40' Super C. Getting to our campsite was a bit tight, but we made it. We stayed in site 21 which was beautiful. The sites are quite unlevel so bring LOTS of blocks. We had to raise our front end 9" to get semi level. But after we accomplished it, we loved the site. It was so quiet and beautiful scenery with a creek across the street. The air was cool and crisp and we were able to keep our windows open 24/7. The campground is just a couple of miles from Great Basin Visitor Center. The dump station has potable water. We will definitely stay there again when in the area.
