This park is fantastic. Spots are very spacious and room to roam the park. Seems like every spot looks good.

As always the COE campgrounds are the best. Everything is well maintained and the staff always friendly. With a senior pass I pay a fraction of the cost of other campgrounds. Thank you for making my camping experience a great experience!

There's lots of trees down which makes for good firewood if it doesn't rain. Not much to do here but relax. Publix and Walmart are close by if needed. Parts of the lake was dried out. Pictures showed that the water would be in front of us but it was non- existent. Bathroom was warm and clean until last day. Rain flooded the campsite. Need more gravel over the dirt in some areas of the campsite. It was quiet for the most part. I probably would not come back to this one. No hiking trails.

Great campground. Just opened 23 sites back up. We stayed on 24 & 26. Both pull through on the lake or not so well full lake. It was very low. But still enjoyed the relaxing for 10 days. This park will be really nice with all the new campground items now. There are some beautiful spots for camping. There are no trees left, a few still there and you can tell the storm came right down the middle of it. Great walking area. The bathroom in the this area is open and nice. It has a washer/dryer for free that can be used. If you want firewood, its lying everywhere.

80% of trees have been cut so theres no privacy. Check in and check out times are wrong on website and reservation email so someone from the park came banging on our door and was extremely rude asking if we were leaving that we should have already been gone. Check in is apparently at 1pm not 3pm like website says yet no one is at the check in point until 2pm-4pm everyday so makes zero sense. We love staying army corp but will NEVER return to this one

Great park. Gate attendant really helpful. Restrooms well taken care of. A shame to see all the tree damage after the last hurricane.

The campground host that resides in site #1 in the large Class A camper is a belligerent bully, unless you talk down to him the way he talks down to you, which unfortunately I had to do. The old crow that resides in the white camper up front near the entry gate and where's a hat like Slash from Guns and Roses isn't much better... They both need a serious attitude adjustment, and if they keep treating people the way they do somebody's bound to give it to them! Neither have any people or communication skills, let alone customer service skills... I have no idea how those two clowns made it through life as far as they have and why anybody in their right mind would hire either of those two men as campground hosts!At Petersburg Campground the rules only apply to the people they generally don't like or care for, and that would include most that don't have a large fancy newer type of camper, or not a local... These two aforementioned guys definitely discriminate and profile people and their vehicles /campers...In my opinion these two old hateful aforementioned guys are a federal lawsuit waiting to happen and have no business being campground hosts anywhere! There poor attitudes filled with contempt disdain and hate are enough to ruin anybody's camping experience at Petersburg Campground, but I didn't let it ruin mine, I just mouthed back at them and gave them some of their own medicine, and when they threaten to call the ranger on me for what they perceive to be breaking their rules I simply told them-- Go ahead I'll be right here waiting for them, and went about my business as usual. These guys enjoy belittling. The campground itself is pretty nice other than the fact that it was decimated pretty badly by Hurricane Helene, but in my opinion it's overseen by some real loser campground hosts, other than a third set of part-time campground hosts that are from Wyoming ( Paul & Kat) who are actually pretty nice down to earth people that are reasonable and sensible...

It was disappointing finding all the clear cutting going on in the campground. It was disconcerting that the Bartram trail has been eliminated in the campground because we always look forward to walking the trail with our dogs. If we had known we needed to make a reservation before we arrived it would have been easier too. We have never known our exact dates to be there and in years past we just went up to the office paid for our site and that was it. Now you have to make a reservation before you can drive in campground by phone it was a sixteen minute wait and impossible to get on the internet without WiFi!The campground hosts said they really didnt know what they were there for because they couldnt do anything! It looks to me like someone new took over and had to reinvent the wheel when this process had already been tried before and probably failed! Anyway it wasnt as pleasant as previous visits.

Always enjoy this ACE camping ground. The weather has been raw during my last two visits, so I'm going to hold off camping for a while.While walking through the campsite recently, I noted that the cover to the electric panel on site 10 was lying on the ground and damaged to the point where it could not be reattached. This could be dangerous. I noted this last year as well.Roger Marin.

We are so happy to have our campground back after Hurricane Helene. She certainly left her mark, however I think she will be looking very nice in the spring.

The campground looked great. The workers did a great job of cleaning and restoring the campground after Hurricane Helene hit the area. Very satisfied.

Petersburg was nice and quiet. Lot 6 was the best location foe being on the water.The only drawback to my stay was that there is still a lot of cleanup that needs to happen, due to hurricane Helene, and the area leading into the campground has recently been logged, and all of that detracts from the beauty.

We spent New Years eve here. It was great! There had been quite a bit of damage done by a hurricane but I don't think it negatively impacted our experience. The scenery was still very beautiful and the restroom and showers were clean and well kept. I was sad that our stay here was so short. Plenty of space for hiking other activities.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
