Love this place. My wife and i had a wonderful time here. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The bath houses stay very clean

Site was huge. Great open view of the Lake. A nice level lawn area in front of the campsite to sit and enjoy the view and stars at night. There was a nice staircase down to a small walkable area making it easy to access the lake to fish, swim or boat. Loved this site very much.

The Corp of Engineers camp grounds never disappoint. They are always well maintained and the staff very professional! 😊

We really enjoy this place! The facilities are very clean and all the campsites are well groomed. We come here to go mountain biking, kayaking and paddle boarding. So much to do here.

WE LOVE TO CAMP AT THIS CAMP GROUND - THE ONLY DOWN SIDE THIS TIME WAS THE SEVERAL HOLES IN THE PAVEMENT PRIOR TO GETTING TO THE GATE (PLEASE FIX/FILL IN FOR THE NEXT CAMPERS AS WE ARE 75 YEARS OLD AND THAT MAY BE ARE LAST TRIP DOWN FROM NEW YORK STATE FOR US TO CHECK TO SEE IF IT WAS DONE. THANK YOU

It was beautiful and quiet. Large sites right on the water. Large easy to access picnic tables. Cooking table/ shelf, fire ring, grill and lantern hanger at every site. I like be this place. I just cant get enough of Petersburg Campground. And the price is better than reasonably.

Beautiful campground with most sites on the water. Unlike most of the Clarks Hill Lake campgrounds Petersburg sites are not as high above the waterline, are large and are mostly level.

Very clean facilities with beautiful sites on the lake. One of our favorite USACOE campgrounds. Take time to walk around the various loops.

We have camped at Petersburgh many times in the last 20 years. The park is beautiful and well maintained. The Host have always been friendly & welcoming. We love that we can camp year round at this park. Will be returning in the near future. Proximity to shopping, restaurants, entertainment and sight seeing are a plus. We don't boat or fish but the lake is still a big draw and enjoyable for all ages.
