Great area, quiet, clean, good size somewhat private, and level sites. Clean facilities and friendly staff...sad, water level low but all in all very nice park.

#18 was a great spot for our first time in the camper! We have two littles that were able to swim in the cove and meet their friends staying across the way in the middle. It was a walk to the water, the path was mostly clear but pretty steep. You can see the water from the spot, but not the bank. No cell service at all (Verizon). The golf cart made the swim beach more accessible.

Sites provide reasonable privacy. If you're seeking great connectivity, this isn't for you.We came before peak season, so the campground was not full, and was very quiet. I imagine the toilet and shower facilities would be crowded if the campground was full.

This was a very large site with a lovely water view. No water access though.

The facilities are wonderful and the campground itself is great. The camp hosts were sub par, they were never around and The phones were never answered. This made the experience more stressful than it needed to be.

One of our favorite places to camp! Most camp sites are large. Restrooms clean. Plenty of opportunities to bike ride, kayak, fish, and enjoy the beautiful lake view. Will definitely be back!

Decent distance between sites. Nice hiking trail, but remain alert for mountain bikes.
Bathrooms facilities are decent and clean.

the campsites for the campers/travel trailers are super large. Spaced out with privacy in mind. The convince facility was super clean. Highly recommend going to visit. We will return.

Didn’t have 50 amp service so we had to use 30 amp and propane for heating.

Huge, clean and level campsites with most at the lake. We have Cricket as our service provider and there were major issues with reception. We will be coming back to this campground.

Enjoyed it here so much, I stayed longer than originally planned.

Beautiful! The cleanest campground I have been to. Everyone works hard to care for the campground and the people staying here. Sites are spaced nicely with trees for privacy. Many sites are on the water and give you magnificent views. I was ready to go buy a kayak and spend time on this lake. Our site was in a cove and most days the water was like glass. Hosts are friendly and very helpful. Excellent single track bicycle trails and hiking. A great place to visit!!

Outstanding place to camp with unbelievable amp sites on the lake that are really good for privacy and experience- great hiking trails right from the camp ground and excels for lake kayaking.

I enjoy the lake views and woods paths as well as the nicely designed and mostly private sites. Your No Visitors /Guests policy helps keep down the noise. My visits have been off-season, so I'm sure full-season would be busier/noisier by nature.
I've been RV'ing around the country for two+ years, and Petersburg is among my favorite spots.

P.S On my last visit in January, '21, my site's 30-amp shore power outlet had an open ground, which, when I mentioned it to a park host, was corrected within the hour.
