Fantastic campground. I don't think there is a bad site in the entire place. Only complaint is how far our site was from the bathrooms. We will definitely be coming back and bringing friends!

This was our first stay at Petersburg C G. Althogh we have been blown away by the design and engineering of each of the COE campgrounds we have visited, Petersburg has gone right to the top of the list. The pads are level. the views are awesome, the spacing is well planned and the water at Peterson was clear and clean.

Wherever we go, we will first search for rec.gov COE campgrounds.

First time at this site and loved it. Enough privacy, plenty of grassy area. The rocky shore line and wall makes it more difficult to access boat; however site is at end location of wall allowing walk down access to lake without jumping down from wall. To many rocks at shoreline to pull boat onto shore. This campsite area is a long way from any shower / bathroom facility's. The site is clean and level, levelers under wheels were not needed.
